Interestint but that's overkill I'm thinking all supers must unite and resolve world zombie spread using each of their powers to slay the undead, research how the disease started and whatever the removal is requiring each one to combine powes etc dunno sounds kinda fun though

They probably picked Chris because they knew how he acts behind the scenes with other actors and that he can portray the clean cut SUPER BUFF nice guy soldier they need.

One the note about the trailer: HOLY CRAP. Totally excited. I expect the last 12 minutes of the climax to be solved with just Hulk SMASHING everything.

A little too late to complain about? Chris Evans was great in Captain America: The First Avenger! And besides, the Fox Fantastic Four movies weren't very good and aren't in the same continuity. And they will probably be rebooted very soon (hopefully by Marvel Studios).
0:38 - The robots seem to be coming from some sort of portal...
Probably a wormhole, like in the Thor movie.

I agree. He did a great job in Captain America. :)

To be clear I really think he's very capable as Cap, it's just that it creates a weird continuity error. Granted the Fantastic Four movies were prior to the official Marvel Studios, but it still feels odd.

I can agree to that Tean. It'll also be interesting how the new spidey fits in too. Grant it, different cast etc, but it feels very recent after the first 3 finished up.

It's a funny thing, that one. I'm totally all for the new Spidey. Maybe that's because I don't think Spider-Man should sound and look like a girl.

*BURN!*

"I have an army."

"Pfft. We've got a Hulk."

:o This looks like it'll be great. Of course Marvel has had a really good record with their movies lately, esp Captain America.

As I stated before, they are not in the same continuity as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's like saying the 2003 Hulk is the same Hulk in this Avengers movie. They have nothing to do with each other.

The upcoming Spider-man movie exists in a universe of its own.

Yep, quite aware of that. Continuity was probably the wrong word to use, but let's be honest here, it's unlikely they're going to reboot the Fantastic Four series anytime soon, and most folks aren't going to know the difference as to what studio made it.

The two sentences contradicted each other, so I just wasn't sure. Sorry.

But you know, yet you still find it weird! :o While I don't really care about the Fantastic Four movies, I didn't see it as strange when Ray Stevenson played Volstagg in Thor when he had previously played Frank Castle in Punisher Warzone. Meh.

Anyway, just three more months. :runaway:

Oh I know that, mainly because Sony owns the rights to Spidey, but what I should say is, if there will be nods to each other in the movies. Because it's slightly implied Parker's parents work for shield in the new movie.

I hope this is the case, but it might be very unlikely. They could have changed it to a different government agency, though, like the CIA. But if it does turn out to be S.H.I.E.L.D. for whatever reason, then that would totally be awesome! :D
