Whats wrong with being accurate?

There a limit between accurate and Majin accurate

There is? Not anymore! Plus, OOM-9 was right. Schizo, what's wrong with being accurate, as Bandu said? Whatever you do, do it your best, whether is be gaming, modding, doing schoolwork, playing sports, fighting, etc.

I never said there was anything wrong with it, but is it really necessary to go insane over the smallest detail on something? I mean... I like to be accurate, yes, but I wouldn't really mind having a little switch here on the right side of the gun when it's supposed to be on the left side. But that's just me. I may not care, but I guess I can see why you want everything to be as accurate as possible. Don't mind me. >.>

I dont go insane over the slightest detail but that pistol isnt good enough to be used as the 'Organa Rifle' as i now Christan it

As far as PAN, I was was and am very dissapointed. Let's face it, I am trying to think of a weapon MESH that wasn't from SWBF1..... Besides the lightsaber's, which are all the same for each Jedi and may actually be SWBF1 sabers.

Being a Fett fan the WORST thing to do as far as weapons PAN probs is to deface Jango's blasters They are West Star 34's NOT 33!(even worst its the droid blaster mesh) PAN needs to watch the Star Wars movies atleast once.

Sorry thats my off topic rant.

And as far as being overly critical, whats the point of modding if we can't flatten out the details of how things should be? (Besides, it's fun)

Yeah but it WAS made after AOTC and although the carbine was probabily not in the movie IT WAS in the visual dictionary so therefore there was a chance that they modeled the pistol after it for BF1.

The weapon in BF1 and 2 is most likely a made up weapon based on the DC-15S Blaster:

im with 1103 on this 1 the pistol is proberlly made up with cabine in mind

but there is another pistol that confusdes me wot is this pistol you get it with the clone commader figure

Yes but that is an illustrated version which is never actually seen in the movies, the comic book version looks more like the SWBF pistol, that illustration looks like it's somewhere between the cartoon version and the comic version.

Fortunately (or unfortunately depends how you see it) PANDEMIC has canonized the SWBF pistol as the DC-17 Hand Repeater. Just like they canonizedthe sniper rifle, the shotguns, and the rocket launchers.

PANDEMIC had to fill in slots for weapon classes. They had to create and make up stuff a lot for the sake of the game. They were not pressed to make it realistic, they were pressed to make it fun/balanced/ and 'cool'

They obviously succeeded as we are all here modding and arguing over a game we love that they made from scratch.

We all know they recycled a LOT of models, but hey, I know I wouldn't want to remodel more droids when the ones we got are awsome already... They beefed up the rebel alliance and the EP3 clones, but as far as i can tell the IMP side and the CIS look exactly the same with better bumpmaps.

Lets end this arguement that is taking my thread towards lockdown.

i made jango Fetts Westar 34 blasters and that clones pistol( as jabba knows cuz i have showed him) i just have to finish up the texs and they will be all set,
