Maybe you could make a Vespid Stingwing out of a geonosian (scale er up a bit I'd say) to join the Tau. 'Tis a shame there's no good model for Kroot, I like those.

Sigh... Suddenly the map is crashing in every game mode and era once you finish loading. Ive cleaned and munged but nothing helps. It might slow the project down a bit but don't worry, if I can't fix it, Ill just make a new map and copy the side files from the old one.
By the way, I would like to request a simple map, just a large plain with a few hills maybe (doesn't matter) and a vehicle spawn for every vehicle in the original game. Don't munge it, just upload it so I can use it to test vehicles. I can't do it myself because zeroeditor won't accept windows vista.

Great ideas, but wouldnt the wmperror be better for the Adeptus mechanicus? I was planning to have Darth Vader as Death Korps soldier of some kind, I think it would look quite good.

I see. But for a two handed axe I would have to use the gammoreans axe I think. The vibroswords are overused allready I think.

Will do, once the map stops crashing randomly. At the moment Im writing a unit list detailing what I would like for the final version, what I have allready (or the assets for) and what I will need in the future. I guess ill post it in the morning.

About the music: As some modders, christmas in jiglin town and the last attack on the Death Star have added/changed music. And about getting it: I have a lot of music, from many different things, I can perfectly say it won't brake any copyright. In fact, I have no warhammer music.

Right now I'm making a pack with the music that fits warhammer, I'll upload it when finished. I'm adding heavy metal music and rock as well because all who plays warhammer loves it. I don't know why but liking warhammer goes together with liking heavy metal. You will hear this music in every gamesworkshop stablishment.
Heavy metal is great for warhammer, I even think they made a warhammer metal record once.

But I still can't fix the crashing. I made a new *** project and usedd the sides I know don't have problems. There are no typos in the lua and I get no errors in the log. This is really starting to annoy me but Ill do my best to fix it.

Importan note: Laser pistols and rifles use red rays, while laser canons use blue rays. This doesn't happen with chaos, whose rays are all red.
Should be doable, but first I have to fix that infernal crashing. It appears every mode and eracrashes now and I think theres something wrong with the visualmunge program.
Great music that, but the ones from oblivion is propably copyrighted, wouldn't want to get sued or anything.
I might also add some similar ones myself.

I see.

Heres the list of factions/units/weapons. I will update it when things changes though.
This is for version 1.2, not the 100% correct one, but feel free to correct anything.

The two last classes will vary from faction to faction.

SPACE MARINES.

Soldier: Tactical Marine - Boltgun
Assault: Devastator - Rocket launcher
Scout: Scout - Sniper Rifle / Shotgun
Engineer: Techmarine (or techpriest) - Melee weapon of sorts i think, possibly a gun.
Officer: Captain - Gun and sword
Special: Assault Marines (Jetpacks) - Chainswords
Medic: Apothecary - Sword/ Gun / health packs
Heavy Support: Terminator - Storm Bolter

Thats one side, but Ill post more soon.

Forgot the sidearms, just wrote the main weapons. What should the enegy punch be?
Pheraps a force push with a shorter range or something.

Ah, didn't think of that one. Changing the music seems a bit difficult but since the maps won't work anymore I was planning to change the menu backgrounds and fonts to make it look more unique. But I guess you can't edit the main menu background because you can only affect the actual map, but it would be cool if the in-game menu looked more like something from DOW, like a scroll of some kind.

There wouldn't be a TC untill version 2 anyways, but it sure would be intresting.
I found some exelent 40k models made in gooogle sketchup but theres no way of making them msh (or anything else I think) and Id have to contact him before actually using it. Heres the link if you would like to see it: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/ ... 99&ct=mdrm
But I still can't get the map working and Ill be very busy for a while Im afraid, so it will be difficult to keep things up. But Ill do my best still.

Don't have a Gmail account and didn't have time to make one. But he said in same description (I think it was the sentinel) that modders could use the models if they give him credits for making it. Altrough, unless theres a way to convert them to msh (and Ive googled it for ages) they won't be of any real use Im afraid.

Converting them to msh isn't a problem, many people here at GT have XSI 5.1 which you need to convert models to msh...

Menu changes also? o.O Nice.
Would like to help at that point, just say when you need something. :P

Well that's exellent. But is XSI 5.1 the free one or do you have to pay for it? If it's free then this mod just got a whole lot better, if I manage to contact the guy who made them at least.

If you wanna help with the menu changes, it would be cool if you could make it more like the menu from dawn of war, looking like an old scroll with a winged skull over or something like that. And if you know how, replace the fonts with something gothic. It would really make the mod feel more warhammer-like

I just need the menu tga files... remember, i dont have the modtools anymore im just helping people a bit :P

Fonts are hardcoded I think...

data***/common/fonts have a readme that explains how to change them but I just don't get it.
And for the menu tgas im not sure wich ones you'll need and if I had to upload all the files it would take ages. Even a small wile I have to upload at least 4 tmes before it stays, propably because of my crappy internet. So sorry I can't send you the files :( .
