Xbox Controller and PC Battlefront 2

As yall know, Star Wars Battlefront 2 on the consoles have a bit of auto aim to assist in the use of joysticks. I have always enjoyed Star Wars Battlefront 2 with a controller on a console, but all of the great customization is done on the PC.

I'm curious, though, is there a way to connect the Xbox Controller to the PC to play Star Wars Battlefront 2 and also have a bit of auto aim that the console Star Wars Battlefronts have?

This way I can have the cake and eat it also. :P

Thanks for the help!

1) Auto-aim is specific for console versions only, the option can be added to the options menu but it doesn't do anything.
2) Yes you can use an Xbox 360 controller on PC Battlefront 2, although it probably has to be a wired usb controller. That is what I have and it works great! You still have to manually set each game function to a button in the controller options menu.

You can use a wireless XBox360 controller with a wireless receiver. I have one and it works just fine and dandy (though with my HP laptop having a full keyboard, I can use that instead for SWBFII)
