I've had some problems, when switching back from 2nd primary, related to AWARD weapons.. I dunno how to fix them, but will try something!
I just noticed this. Let me guess, if you get the award and switch to second primary, you can't switch back to the first, right? That's because the normal weapon is locked out, though you've successfully removed the award weapon. If you have any odf (attached to a unit, like a weapon) with a line in it related to an active award, the game will count actions that affect whether you can achieve it.

Why dont you guys do a countdown to release for the alpha and the final like the convo pack did?

The alpha has already been released.

Simply put, professional schedules are based on deadlines. It's not necessary for modding, and such things may reduce a mod's overall quality.

Agreed, head should be bigger. Also, are the lancer droids/clones going to use lancers on speeder bikes? If so, could we see a pic of them?

Yes, the Lancer Droid and Lance Trooper will have lances on there swoop, it works ingame. No, you can't see a pic, since the bikes aren't done yet.. Stay tuned!

Lol, the Lancer Droid reminds me of the days when I used to play Toontown and battled Cogs that looked like that.
I'll be anxiously awaiting this!
