Weird. I like the avatar more than the sig.

@Karnage - Hm, well I don't know if you know this, but I want the animation playing in my sig
And, I might just take a clip from one of the movies instead of that animation, 'cuz it doesn't really look very good with it. (And I can't think of any background colour, instead of white, that would look OK)

Well, i got Image Ready, and it's all very confusing. I did a little test run and this is what came out of half an hour of fiddling around and seeing what each button did. All it is is a picture, not really meant to be a sig or a wallpaper. Any advice for one who wants to learn how to be good at digital artistry? Obviously i need to work on the flow of the picture.

Well, first of all don't use ImageReady, use Photoshop =D

Okay, i did my very first sig in Photoshop. It is a sig for another forum, and i'll most very likely be making better versions of it, because i really like the render i used here.

Well I did a little bit of work on colour. I got rid of the "morning" shade a bit, coloured his eyes silver, and sharpened it a tiny bit.

I still can't figure out how to add a movie. I guess I'll keep on googling.

Adding an animated gif to an image in GIMP is really terrible. you'll need to use imageready or another program.

You could use GIMP GAP (Gimp Animation Package, an addon to GIMP) to import a small video (10 seconds or so) and then export as a gif, but this would take quite a while when exporting.

I can't find GAP Adreniline. I've googled and I just can't find it. Can you post a link?

Ya but that doesn't help which one is it? Adreniline gave me a link... here.

And here's a pic I made from a screen I took in America's Army. Nothing special.

Yeh, the link I gave you, download the zip file.

Nice pic, you been using layers?

Try generating flames under Filters>Render>Nature>Flame

Make sure to change the background and foreground colors before you generate a flame, and don't zoom into the flame to far our you will be waiting quite a while.

The blurring is ok, too bad that AA hasn't got the best graphics :P

I didn't make it in GIMP actually. I just copied the people out of the picture, blurred the whole thing and then pasted the people back on top.

^Hm... Different.

I worked on my sig today.
It got really distorted on Photoucket, and ImageShack wouldn't take it 'cuz it was too big, so I had to upload it to my site. I couldn't figure out how to use the 10dpi thing either, so... I just kept it the way it was. It's really gif-ish...
Image
There's still some white around the edges of the animation, but I had to go through 185 frames to get rid of most of the white so...
Comments?

Cool but I think too gif-ish. I'd rather no dancing spidey than like that.

Made a new sig:

First time with GIMP.
