It did. Before you posted, even.

Ok, so apparently it is coming
sooner than I though. The ARG has revealed that Portal 2 will be
released early if people help GLaDOS reboot by playing the games in the Potato Sack Pack.

This teaches everyone how to join a group and get a potato. Everyone can at least do this.

Not
everyone, you need to own at least one of the potato sack games.

Meh, it's hopeless, I have already given up, I'll wait until monday.
It was a nice ARG and all, but this last phase was, well, stupid. Hopefully Valve will learn from it, no more grinding challenges.

I think the problem was the Steam Community was suddenly thrusted with power, and not everyone knew what to do with it. There were some that were really pushing for this to happen, but no one has really given us this much power before.

I think they were expecting too much from us, it was impossible to fill all of those bars in such a limited time frame.
Oh well, I hope we get to at least keep our potatoes after this is all over, they look nifty.

Game comes out Tuesday, Nihillo,

We still got time, lol. And besides, every game we finish shaves off an hour. We've got 7 so far. Almost 8. If we get get maybe 9 or 10 tomorrow, it'll be released on Monday at 11PM PST

Just a heads up, the game was released early in some stores and the ending videos have been popping up everywhere.
If you like to not have things spoiled (unlike me

), I would suggest going super dark for tomorrow, maybe even just play Portal 1 all day. Valve's been doing a good job of removing the videos, but you know how the internet works.

Just in case you missed it, it's happening:
http://www.aperturescience.com/glados@home/.
The potatoes are draining, there are nine test subjects active (presumably nine of the people who "disappeared" during the ARG are playing Portal 2 right now) and the completion rate for all games has drastically increased.
This is it!

I just played through it and it was amazing, I won't say anything, obviously. Now I can't wait to play co-op with a buddy of mine.

As short as its predecessor then, at least as far as the main story is concerned?
