Chunks

Throughout my swbf2 gaming experience, I fly straight through chunk of other planes and such. Do chunks have collision geometery because It doesnt seem like it. Also, When the hit the ground they should do damage. Maybe an invisible explosion or something. Could people, when they make new chunks for vehicles give them these effects, and, two more common stuffs. Explosion hurting(done by, as you all know increain damage aand radius) and crashing hurting enemies. Yep. Just let me know if you have any thoughts on such things

No, it's not just you.
I really despise the lack of damage of chunks that hit the ground. It was like that in BF1, too, so there's probably a reason for it.

Well, I know that sometimes when I dive down into an exploding frigate, I sometimes hit something. Other times I don't. Anyway these lines look the most promising:
ChunkTerrainEffect = "" //<<<---maybe explosions you could add on impact
ChunkKeepSoldierCollision = 1 //<<---on space frigates, this is always set to
//1 but in vehicles, it's never mentioned. Don't know what it does, nor what its defualt
//value is. (Its default could be 1 but it's worth a shot. Try it.)
