I made a skin called the Agua Clone shown here:



(I'm new at this, so Constructive Critisim ONLY PLEASE) I just reskinned J.L.L.'s Red and Black Clone but how would I get my hand's on the original model's
(thanks in advance - DaCheat)

They came in the Mod Tools (SDK) from Lucas Arts and Pandemic. Could someone else help with the link? I don't have it on me at the moment.

er what? models? do you mean textures/skins? if so then you will find it in the bfbuilder/assets/sides/"faction name here"/ msh

also not a bad skin for a first but try avoiding just filters to the skin, add stuff to it and not just filter it it always looks better and shows off more skill (also filtered stuff like that tends to look bad in game)

somehow, that skin looks like the one Jabba made... did u just recolored it?

I said I reskinned JLL (Jabba Loves Lava) model.
And All I have Is GIMP So I Don't Know how to Do everything.
If some one could teach me *wink* *wink it would be much apreciated !

shut up! your skins aint much better! its a freakin filter (just like yours!) also if you had bothered to read the post instead of blatenly critisizing him you owuld know that he just worked of Jabba's skin (not knowing where the original could be found!)

Actually, they are. Plus, ever hear of CAPITILIZATION AND PUNCTUATION? And sersiously thats actually just solid colors, so yes, my skins are better, and can you come up with something better than "shut up!", it sounds like your 8 years old. And Jabbas red clone is just inverted with a little bit of red plastered on it.

Back on topic, you dont need the model if your trying to get it back ingame. If your trying to edit it I believe it would be BFBuilder\Assets\Sides\REP\ODF (im not familiar with model filetype)

The question was answered on the first post and dont need answered twice. Also you might want to go back and look at your skins, youl find that they are either just some filters or simple paint jobs atleasts he tryin.

RDST was just affirming Bandu's assessment of your overly harsh criticism of DaCheat's texture.

If you can't offer constructive advice, then why bother typing anything at all. Find a hobby that doesn't annoy others.

However, everytime you have posted it has been a flame or critism that is either rude, imature, or just not needed. Yet your still do it? People here, like Bandu, and several others don't want or need your critism. Many of your post are just plain hypocritical.

I like this site's forum because there is little flaming, everyone helps out, and critism is only consturctive. You on the other had have been a prick at this site. You post hypocritical and imature things here. These things reflect the 5th grader that you are. So with a final note... shut up and shove off.

But DaCheat - here is my Comments:
The skin is pretty good, I'm glad you like JLL and my skin I 'polished' it with shadows and made it more realistic.

Are you using Paint? or Photoshop? or another program?

If you're using Photoshop, then you can do like I did to make shadows:
Choose the Paintbrush Tool, and select a 'main' color - in this case blue - and then move the slider of the Color Properties to more black - not 100% but more like 60%

Now go to the top-menu bar, and under Opasity(sp?) set it from 100 to 5 or 10.

Now you can start painting over your skin, where there 'should' be shadows - and you have to draw over itself a few times, and remember to work from 'out and in', to make it perfect

try it out, it might take some time - but the skin will be PERFECT
