First off, yes, this is an awesome map (Especially with the new heroes)

I have noticed one bug, although it may not be true.

The Heroes spawn too close to the Villians, I think. I'm just wondering if anyone else noticed that?

Hey, Thank you so much for bringing back dune sea, it's one of my favorite maps! I played for a while and it's very good. I love the new Luke Skywalker and Assajj Ventress. Nice Job, Can't wait for the next versions.
Only bad thing is as already said, tusken raiders kill me too easily...

Theres no such thing as "spawning too close" when it comes to Hero's Assault. :wink:

As far as the Purple faced Hero goes (Jano I think his name is)... I like him the way it is. Obviously thats just me.

He is a real challenge to do well with, and it takes TRUE skill to use him. Which is why some of these people probably think he needs fixed.

His special healing ability works well with him. Obviously, you put a lot of thought into balancing him out. He is so vunerable because of his rapid healing ability, which is what I like about him. You can afford to get hit by long distance fire, but get hit with a saber and its a done deal. Jano needs to keep his distance and make use of his jumping abilities and his saber throw.

I would like to maybe see a better flying attack from him, however. The Luke one (I believe it is) just isn't accurate enough for him. I would like to see him with like an AoE (Area of Effect) type of attack, like Mace's. Only difference is... instead of the ground shatter deal... maybe make it a Blue Wave and call it something like "After Shock" (if it even gets a name).

I dunno if this is a legit character... but I would also consider changing the two sabers into a double bladed saber. He relies on Saber Throw a great deal, and the wider saber would help him be a bit more accurate.

Yeah I actually didn't set up any force powers for Jano. I just stuck him in to test, so I'm totally open to force power suggestion for him and Yun as well.

Hmmm... well as far as force powers go... Maybe a unique power like Asajj. Instead of it being a push though... maybe make it a pull? He is pretty vunerable to attack as is, so his strikes call for accuracy and quickness.

And since most these people are probably complaining because they're trying to do in close combat... maybe a force pull is what they need.

It would be up to you whether you would want the 360 degree force pull or the plain old one, but thats the force power I would think he would need.

Factor in the air attack I mentioned in the above post and he'll be a pretty unique Jedi.

Jano is too weak for me. Playing with him in Hero Assault, I thought he was weak. Then when I played with him on Conquest, I found him even weaker than before. Watching the health bar shrink so fast is annoying, especially when you're having to run across a large open area with no enemies by. The fact that he gets killed by one shot is very annoying, and I was spawn killed with him a lot. So...other than that I loved the map. The terrain colors seemed a little wierd but that was about the only bug I noticed. And of course there are all of the other bugs that you already know about. Overall good work! I just didn't like Jano.

Hmmmm... As Jano is a master of healing, you could give him a force heal. You know, the same power the Bothan Spy has.

Hey, I did real good with him. The reason I complained about it is that it's kinda strange that he has so little health compared to the other heroes. But I wrote my comment using Alt+Tab while playing, and then forgot to change it. It was before I found out that he was self-healing.

So I take it you guys want Jano to be a healer? It was just a test, but everyone seems to like the idea. Now I'll just tweak it so that it's more balanced.

Yeah.

In conquest he dies too fast, even when just sitting there..

Is it's possible to make his lightsaber bar not go down unless hurt?

Off-topic : Tean', may I suggest a few modifications which should be done to the "Chiss Hero" - Named "Jano Morel" - you've added to this level ?
If so, here they're :
  • Rename this Star Wars Balltefront II playable character using one of these first names ("Stent", "Brosh", "Shawnkyr", "Sevrance" or even "Jocell") and one of the following surnames. ("Tann", "Cspala", "Nuruodo", "Inrokini" or "Sabosen")
  • Provide him a a Charric in replacement of his Light-saber or additionally to his current equipment
  • Give him a "Bordeaux wine"-colored uniform resembling to Star Wars Jedi Knight II : Jedi Outcast Imperial Officer's, which might be based on Star Wars Battlefront II Luke Skywalker's mesh

Just had a thought...do we actually need a Tatooine Luke for this level? Surely you could use the ingame Luke model, as seen in episode 6?

Tatooine Luke is actually already finished, aside from his weapons. I'm using him because he hasn't been used yet, and he fits well on Tatooine.

Wow, after reading and seeing how Jano can heal himself, I played with him more. I ended up dying about 3 times before I started just using saber throw... wow, that may have been on eof the most fun battles I've had in a while. The only thing that got me was Jango's flamethrower :D...

Tatooine Luke

Just had a thought... You cannot put Tatooine Luke in this map. This is Dune Sea. This is when Luke returned to save Han in Episode VI ROTJ. This should be the normal in-game Luke. Use Tatooine Luke in Mos Eisley, Death Star, or Yavin IV.
