Hey,
How can I open .LVL files in SWBF2? in BF there are many programs for it, but I cant find any for BF2.
Basicly I want to open the Death Star map, and have a look at there textures, but I cant open the darn files!

You cannot get textures from a .lvl file to look at, I believe.
If you want to mod BF2, please download
the SWBF2 Mod Tools .

Well, I want to extract them into DDS files, like I can with BF1 .LVL files. Surly its possible...

Hmm, perhaps it is. I don't fool around with BF1 much.

You can, the exact same way you can do with BF1 files (they are constructed nearly identically). It's a waste of time, though, since all the textures are provided with the mod tools.

So if I download the Mod Tools, I will be able to freely view textures/put them in photoshop?

To look at and edit the textures/whatever else you want in the assets no, to put them ingame yes.

Ok, I have downloaded the Mod tools and installed, could anyone point me at where the textures are located in this insane amount of folders...
