yeah it was a public download, i would rather have new ones painted but your busy with other things and i suck at textures, i was just impatient and wanted to get it in game as fast as possible, even if it meant photosourcing a bunch of textures into one. this whole model though will be such a light load since it has no animations and needs no enveloping and im also not even gonna place hardpoints, just gonna attach everything to the dummyroot and set the offset in the odf, you can refer to the x-wing to see what im talking about.

Wow... 0_o never thought I would see you say that, lol. The world as I know it is falling apart! Ahhh!! :P j/k Even if you had photosourced it I know you would do a great job.

Great job on the model, and the textures you found are perfect! Reminds me of the Rogue Squardon unlockable N-1. (Had so much fun with that ship)

if they made a moddable rogue squadron game for the PC that was online multiplayer i wouldnt play anything else.

the black is just a placeholder cause i might do the cockpit later on and i just used the droid texture from the x-wing cause im lazy, ill post back later with in game screens.

the effects arent attached in XSI, they are only viewable through the particle editor or the game itself >_>

im gonna change the effect to blue later but for now its in game and mostly working the way i want it to.
oh yeah dont mind the effects in that second pic, its old and the offset wasnt right on the effects cause i didnt use actualy hardpoints, just attached everything to dummyroot and adjusted the offset in the odf so they would be where i wanted them.

its the console, im using the BF2_modtools.exe and it shows any errors in there from the game.

but now i cant play my space test map cause it crashes right when the loading bar gets full but before the map actually opens but i got this error when munging...

its been so long since ive compiled anything that i dont even remember where the shell.req even goes or what it contains, i tried doing a clean and then remunging but no luck, anyone know how to fix it?

EDIT: nevermind, i got it, it was because i ruled out the chunk secion in the .odf with

Spiffirific!

I must say, it looks really grand in-game! When you to hope to have this released? Beyond changing the thrust effect to blue, what do you have left?

Mini, In case you didn't already know, there is a shipped blue thrust effect already made. If you search for "blue" you should find it.

hehe i already made it blue, its been blue for like a day or so, those are just old screens, i have lowrez and collision done i just gotta make chunks and thats it unless people want a cockpit view...

I don't care for a cockpit but I do want the windhield to be transparent :o

They don't have a cockpit in the shipped fighters but you can at least see the windows! :?

i have a window, its just all black while thiers is just simply black with grey swirled in it and btw, ALL the shipped ships have cocpits and cockpit views, theyre just turned off in the .odf files, you can re-enable them, all it takes is 2 hits with the backspace button and a quick ctrl+S.

Y will the lasers be blue? In rogue squarron, the lasers were green. Im not sayin you have to. But this does look really good and Ive allways wanted to fly on in BF2

no the EXHAUST is blue, the lasers are green and they are linked as well cause im a huge fan of the rogue squadron games.
