Request to any Programmers. . .

If someone could make an application that could:

-Move maps from the the addon folder to a subfolder, then launch a selected .exe(ie)battlefront.exe

-leave selected map folders in the directory(tat3, selected mods)

-Move maps back from the sub folder to the addon folder and start a selected
exe(battlefront 1.3.exe)

Settings could be changed in an .ini file.

I think the main interface should look like this: Image

The Reason I'd like someone to make this, is becuase I like to switch frequently between v1.2(Multiplayer) and 1.3.(Singleplayer) It's a painstaking process to remove all the maps I want from my addon folder, except for a select 25, to play 1.2. IF someone could make an application with the above parameters, that could accopmplish this task, I would be gratefull.

Please, if something like this would not be to difficult for someone to create(or, possible, show me how :) ) please do. It will ease the pain of not getting a 1.3 final. I'm sure it would get more than just my download.

try having 2 addon folders in your game data folder. one with your select 25, call this addonv2 and then have a folder called addonv3 with all your maps in. use your short cuts to run what ever version you want, however just prior to running 1.2 (for eample) just take the v2 of the end of folder addonv2, this is a simple right click delete thing, have your shortcuts in the gamedata folder so once you've renamed then run the appropriate version. remembering to turn it back afterwards. same for 1.3, just rename addonv3 to addon, and then run the 1.3 version. This should work. A lot long to explain than actually do and would save a heck of a lot of complicated programming.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'd still ike to see such an application made, especially if its not much trouble.

I could probably come up with something simple, I'll let you know if I make any progress.
