sabers and guns

im making a new mandalorian skin, for a map im making with friends. its going to be mos eisley assault, but with all new ckins and characters, we have made ourselves and other friends a character each as we play mos assault quite often.
any whos my character im making at the moment has a bulldog RLR or whatever its called, a green lightsaber with lukes anims, a sniper rifle and in the second slot wrist rockets and det packs looks like this
and anyway when i play with it, it works ok but i cant use any weapon in slot two, det packs and wrist rockets. and also right click with saber out is saber block, even though i havnt changed the controls . has anyone overcome this obstacle, i want my det packs back lol

you can either use a gun, or a lightsaber, i dont think anyone as found out how to get a character to work who has both, i think its something with the animations, not sure

i can use a lightsaber, or a gun. by just switching weapons. the lightsaber is in the secondry weapon in slot 1 so all i need to do is change weapons and i go from bulldog, to saber, to sniper rifle. in slot 1. the question was about what the consequesces are by mixing and matching, i havnt been able to use anything in slot two, only the rifle, bulldog an dsaber in slot 1- so my character does have both.

Yeah i've had this prob too. Basically if you give a guy with rifle a saber as second primary weap correctly (that it actually works) the secondary weap button becomes block and the reload button is now the secondary button, you can still do everything, it's just that those 2 buttons are mapped differently. I think this might have something to do with combo files cos in the combo help doc there is a bit about remapping the reload button to something else (cos you don't need to reload a lightsaber

)
anyway i can't help you but it might be possible to change the weap buttons back somehow.
just to let you know what secondary button is now

what button is the default reload if i havnt changed the reload controls?
edit: also forgot to say but i couldnt get mauls animations working with a rifle, and when i added a 3rd primary weapon, the second secondry weapon dissapeared

I'm guessing that changes due to when a lightsaber is used the controls change to 'Jedi'.

ah! genious didnt think of that lol. il mess with the jedi controls see if i can fix it
