Updates:
-The A-Wing is in final testing, as said before. Fred is setting up some sound cfgs. After that we're 100%.
-We have a new model for the K-Wing. It now has landing gear, is more accurate to the Essential Guide to Vehicles drawings, and the wings animate. We're trying to fix a bug with the top turret that seems to be in all versions where when you pitch the turret glass moves with the guns. No luck so far, but we have more ideas.
If we can't fix the bug, (which is unlikely) the turret will not have any pitch control -- yaw only. After that, this vehicle is 100% golden.
PLEASE NOTE: The K-Wing in the downloads section was what I though was final, but Fred sent me a new mesh. So if you're making maps, go ahead and test with that one. This will simply overwrite the old one.
-The R-41 Starchaser is looking great. It's basically done, it just needs some minor ODF tweaks, and Fred is setting up sound cgs. After that we're 100%.
-The AT-XT is also moving right along. We're about about 95%. Fred sent me a final, bug free mesh, and I created two different versions. One has missiles as secondary fire, the other has grenades in place of the missiles. For the BF1 version there will be no shield, since there are no critical hit points, so it would need the entire mesh shielded to be effective.
-The Nubian Speeder is also really looking nice. Fred sent me a set of 512x512 texture variations which look awesome. I've fixed the height, and we'll now have some steering handles. There's also a model (msh available on Fred's site under beta vehicles) called Alliance Combat Speeder Prototype. I'll probably rename it, but essentially it looks a lot like the Nubian, with different engines, a slightly different hull, and a different turret gun. It has a whitish-grey texture. Anyways, Fred has some lots of different variations of this model, so we're going with the two best in the end. Once we get a final mesh, we're talking less than a week to release date. It's just a matter of Fred and I having time.
-The CIS Fightertank (GAT) is doing well. It have the guns pitching, and am almost done making the head turn 180 degrees. I have to tune the odf (it drives like a speederbike) and Fred has to finish the final mesh (the engines should move kinda like the Republic Fightertank) -- oh, and then then I gotta do FX for the jets underneath.
-The Light Attack Speeder (Go to Lucasarts' BF1 site, under Alliance vehicles as Combat Speeder). It's all done except for a final collision mesh. After that we're 100%.
-The Moldy Crow mesh is complete. Bandu sent me a collision and I fitted the model to it. Weaponry is functioning, and I've started engine glow, which wil be a long process. I'm tinkering with the idea of a gunner position to control the turret below.
-I'll see what I can do with the Imperial Troop Transport (Landing Craft)'s exhaust. That's the only bug. I posted it as final, but only because I was fed up with it.
-The Hovernaut 'squash bug' (You get ran over if you're in the pilot/copilot seat upon exit) is not unfixable I'm sure, but I have no idea how to fix it. For now it'll be as-is. If you want the files, I'll be releasing a beta soon, and would love it if anyone else finds a way to fix it.
-The TIE V-38 Phantom is now in-game. It's an early build. I have to get weaponry functioning, and send the mesh to Bandu for a collision mesh. I think the textures need to be lightened a bit, what do you think?
