Sooooo a few moments ago, Twitter informed me that Minecraft - Pocket Edition is available on iOS. So, obviously, I ran to the store to grab an iTunes card and downloaded it as fast as possible.

Both are $7, and multiplayer will be cross-compatible across systems (iPods, iPads, iPhones, and Androids can all play together), but only over local Wi-Fi. Right now it's just creative mode (Alpha version 0.1.2, currently), but they're building it just like regular Minecraft, so expect to see the mining and crafting parts of Minecraft in due time.

Doesn't affect me at all, but it's still pretty cool. Perfect game for on the go in my opinion.

It's missing 90% of the thing that make mine craft cool but maybe future updates... Till then there are better mc clones in ios and xblive

It may not have all the features I like but I can still build towers of obsidian!
