meh, the canon's all screwy, but I watch it because it's entertaining.
Mah boi, it matters not what moves Lucas makes, the fanboys will still cry anyway.redgroupclan wrote:Wait wait wait wait wait.
So Lucas said Ventress is Zabrak now?
Perhaps he does these sort of things just to make all the long-time Star Wars fans squirm.
He's probably on this forum right now, laughing at our reactions...
Ventress does not even look Zabrak. She's Rattataki, and that's final.
You have to admit that changing Maul and Ventress' origins is a slap in the face to established canon.Darth_Squoobus wrote:Mah boi, it matters not what moves Lucas makes, the fanboys will still cry anyway.
This. Kinda. But also kinda what RGC said.EraOfDesann wrote:You have to admit that changing Maul and Ventress' origins is a slap in the face to established canon.Darth_Squoobus wrote:Mah boi, it matters not what moves Lucas makes, the fanboys will still cry anyway.
But I will hold judgment until the actual episodes air. The changes may not be as severe or concrete as they're being hyped up to be.

I mean, some canon changes aren't that bad, but this was a slap-in-the-face kind of change.
Leland Chee said it doesn't contradict anything we saw. And from a certain point of view, it's true.EraOfDesann wrote:You have to admit that changing Maul and Ventress' origins is a slap in the face to established canon.

You mean Live Free Die Hard, the one staring Bruce Willice?genaral_mitch wrote:I think he's the guy on Die Hard, isn't he?
Cast list says its Corey Burton, the same guy who voices Dooku... and Sib Canay... in the same episode... He also does Bane. And Ziro the Hutt. So yes, you HAVE heard his voice before. Many times.Nova Hawk wrote:the guy who voiced the chairman seemed very familiar. I know I've heard his voice before.

I think there's more focus on the Clone Wars because people are trying to fix what wasn't done quite right in the actual movies. Now it's all The Clone Wars, as if the previous, better series and the whole OT hadn't existed.
