That last recent screenshot, of the Alliance marine firing at the Geth, has me very impressed with the unit and weapon models.

Yes.
Alright, guys, so I'm adding a bunch more names to the Alliance last names list. Some of these names are generated by a random name generator, some of them are real people's names. So, what I am requesting of you all (GT entirely) is,
if you want, to submit your last name to be a part of the Alliance names list.

All of the first names are ranks, such as Private, Lieutenant, etc., so all I need is your last name.
Example of what you'd see in-game: "Geth 555 was killed by Lieutenant Gilbert" or "Corporal Mansell was killed by Geth 125"

Worden
Can't quite pin down my entire family's history on the name, but it'd be cool to see this in-game.
Sergeant would be good enough for me.

Well all the ranks are completely random, and we're setting it up so lower ranks are more likely (Private, Corporal, Sergeant, and First Lieutenant are the ranks we decided on I believe, in order from most likely to least).
The reason we decided to do random ranks rather than first names is because we didn't want male units being fitted with female names, and vice versa. With last names, you can't tell the gender.

Yeah that does make sense. So hmm, random ranks? Now that's a lovely feature.

re:Webster
We're more than fine with surnames of different nationalities, remember this is the late 22nd Century. The Systems Alliance is a conglomerate of all nations, Germany included.

Really cool idea of using peoples' surnames in the mod.
I'm leaving mine if you want to use it:
Gabe (Now you can guess where my username came from)

I've never known anyone with the surname Gabe. That's my first name, so it's interesting to me I guess.
My last name is Ayres if you want to use that.

It's a good point. Partially the problem is that most of the names were chosen by complete random from a name generator, if it didn't throw out Asian names we didn't get them.
We'll try and fix this error.
