Adding custom sounds
I am attempting to add a song I synthesized (called tordarian_intro) as ambient music for a map I am working on. Can this be done, and if it can, then how?

The sound bats for BF2 Tools do not work. I have gotten Sound Streams working but you have to use BF1 tools first and then.... Ugg it is a really messed up process.
I have not gotten Ambient music to work I have tried for hours, the only hope is if the Devs fix the bats but then again I could be wrong because Rends got shipped Vehicles sounds in, so maybe the sound bats could be used some how...

Thankfully you can get .wav effects as well using the munged sound level from the BF1 tools. I was really worried it would not work, it appears ambient sounds don't work because BF2 read them a little differently then BF1 munges.MajinRevan wrote:I have not been able to get custom .wav files for my DC-17m ICWS and DC-15s Side Arm Blaster to work.

I added a custom buzz sound effect for the Magna Droid on Bandu,Teancum and My Rattatak map.

Be sure to look under the sound section at Pyshco Freds site for sound help.
