when i played mos eisley assult it says space assult, and then when i choose my character it crashed.

And you are certain that this problem only occurred right after you installed the unofficial 1.3 patch? Please explain.

the space assault is normal ( there's a thing called readme)

yes it was after installation. also it's the modded version of mos eisley assult. and the restart my cpu, did not work.

Try doing a fresh installation of the game, and then install the official 1.1 patch. Afterwards, before installing any other mods, install the 1.3 patch, and see if the crashing still occurs.

Chances are, it's probably the problem. You need to uninstall that mod and the v1.3 patch, then try installing the v1.3 patch again.

Sounds like the Unofficial v1.3 with v1.2's changes.

It's possible the patch didn't install correctly. As others have asked, the download link you used will be helpful. There are some mis-packaged v1.3s out there. Also, what operating system are you using? Windows 7, Windows XP, something else?

Are any other maps crashing? Make sure to test a different map with the same era (and same game mode if possible) as the one that crashed.

Might you have over 500 missions installed? What big mods do you have?

naboo, mos eisley assult crashes, and i have win7. What i did to fix it is i got the UnOfficial v1.3 Patch r129 - New Installer. and i still the new units

r129 doesn't include the new units. You're having uninstall problems because of Window 7's file access rights. Look for any of SWBF2's folders that have compatibility views.
