System Specs for BF 2142

Post by RED51 »

I was wondering, when I first bought BF 2142, the game kept crashing, so I returned it. But now I've been thinking about buying it again, but I'm not sure what caused it to crash. I think it was because of the fact that I had vista, but SWBFII says it only runs on xp, and it works on vista, so I think something else might be the problem. I havn't actually went to get the game yet, but I don't to waste time or money this time. So can any one help me on this?

I have the game and vista and it works.

Maybe it was your graphics card, maybe you needed to update something, maybe it was something simple as allowing BF2142 to install the latest direct x when it installed the game.

I'm not an expert, but if you have Vista Home Premium than that is not the problem.

Might be your screen resolution. I know some games require either 60 or 59 HZ, and you may have yours set to a different frequency. See if your video card allows you to change it.
