CalvaryCptMike wrote::shock: Another cool update, a wrench eh... I thought about doing that once but never really figured how to make it look good. So I'm curious, how are you going to do it?
Thanks Mike

I'm not quite sure about what you mean. If you mean making custom anims for them, then it's not really worth it to make any anims just for a wrench.

Oh I see, it'll just be a fusion cutter with a wrench geometry then am I right? That's cool, anything more would really just be fluff.

Even if he made a flawless wrench anim it would still usually not line up with whatever it is he's repairing, anyway.

I Concur :plokoon: , and if I am not mistaken the 'tool' bank has no fire animation anyway, so he would have to use pistol or bazooka instead and thats a pain :sleep: . The point is to have a repair to that doesn't look like a futuristic device. I know, use a hammer :P

Hello everyone,

I'm going to present you with a few updates.

First off we have the Flak 88 cannon. I had to put a shield up because the snipers always kill the gunner.

And here's the Deployable field gun for the Nazis. The Nebelwerfer.

And Wulf also editted the Command Post flags, thank you very much Wulf. (I forgot to upload the British Flag, it will be shown a bit later)

Here's a very short gameplay vid of me charging into battle
Note: Some sounds are going to be changed. Whatever you hear might be different in the released version.

You should probably change the muzzle flash color. I still get the impression that the weapon is firing laser bolts.

That's deployable? Nice update btw

@MileHighGuy - Yeah, that is deployable. I know what you're thinking (Or atleast I think I do) that it looks a bit big to deploy. But, I wasn't sure what else to give the Nazi Engineers which was of decent size and deployable. I didn't want to give them Mortars because i wanted to create a variety of different weapons for both sides.

@The Nasal Abyss - Agreed and Fixed. :)

@Naru - Thanks buddy, much appreciated :)

Small update - i've decided to give all weapons movement spreads. If you don't know what I mean by "movement spreads" i'll provide an example below.
Hidden/Spoiler:
StandStillSpread = "0.2"
StandMoveSpread = "0.8"
CrouchStillSpread = "0.0"
CrouchMoveSpread = "0.4"
ProneStillSpread = "0.0"
ProneMoveSpread = "0.0"

That's understandable, but why not make it the size of, say, the tripod turrets? I think movement spread is a good idea, it will make it more realistic. Why not add some grass too? (maybe in the backgroud)

Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I've updated.

Small update:
I've recently improved the Sherman Tank texture, most of it is my work.

Next update will be quite big. It'll arrive most likely in 12 - 24 hours. Stay tuned.

I forgot to mention this on XFire, but the UVs look a bit strange on the wheels.

Yeah, I agree, but its an easy fix.

@ShermanFirefly: I am pretty sure you are aware of the scale issue? As you can probably see for yourself its about, 1.3x-1.4x the size it should be, see the gunner on the top. I should know, I have been in and on a real Sherman, but not a firefly variant, as thats the British version, but they are like, 95% the same as the American version. :P

P. Sherman 42 wallaby way Sydney....sorry, finding nemo has implanted that line in my brain..back on topic.
i agree with wulf on the scale (mostly cause the guy in the top seems a bit to small for the turret) but sadly i have not been in a tank...

I played it and I dunno what can I say about the bigs because I didn't see any bug. That was a long violent and bloody battle, a lot shots and a lot of deads.

Alright, I got the beta and sent you a HUGE beta report, it was awesome, I had lots of fun. The sounds were great. It was so cool. You did a really good job on this. :thumbs:

EDIT: I said in the report that it was too dark, but just now I played it and it used the daytime sky, so what I meant was that the nighttime sky was too dark. :wink:

EDIT #2: The german bunker MGs are facing the wrong way. Also the bunker MGs are not localized properly.

EDIT #3: The little ammo droid things still have the gonk droid dest. model. And the FP model need to be changed. 8)
