Getting vehicles in-game using ZE

I ws wondering if someone could walk me through how to add vehicles/flyers to a land map using ZE if possible. LUAs confuse me but if you could tell me how to use LUA to do it step by step that would be fine too.
Sry im a noob at this kind of thing.
Sry if there is already a thread on how to do this but if there was i couldnt find it.

Wow, I have been here for 3 months and still have no clue how to add vehicles. I do know however that you need to add the following things:
1) Add a cp
2)Add an associated control region
3)Add the vehicle spawn odf (and fill out correct fields)
4)Add the vehicle to your LUA
I think there's more stuff but I'm not sure

There are alot of other topics about how to add vehicles, and I think its in the documentation for the modtools too. Just look around.

Yeah.. it's in the getting started docs that come with the mod tools.. and it's very easy to understand...

@trainmaster611 k thx but i dont really know what any of that means. Uhh i dont even know how to add a cp and get it working lol and i dont think it says how in the modtool docs.
@General_Grievous_4 uhh i looked for a long time and couldnt find anything could you point me somewhere more specific plz?

YES it does!!!

It says how to do that in the mod tools documents!
go to : Your C drive.. into BF2 MOd Tools...
look for a folder called documentation... then read the doc that says getting started...

I've been here and haven't got 1 vehicle getting spawned

only ONCE when Kyross did it for me - rofl.
on the other hand, I really don't care about mapping anyways
I usually just place the vehicles as objects, and it's a one-time use!

They won't respawn, BUT it makes it more challenging and movielike - rofl

Maybe we do need an "extremely" detailed and lengthy tutorial for this somewhere!

I was actually going to suggest that.

Let's make the tutorial easy so all the noobs (inlcuding me) know how to do this since this is such a consistent problem

I don't see any point to making a tut on doing this... as there are already tuts in the docs!!!

It explains it very clearly...

Didn't I tell you where the doc was?

But those docs suck. Nobody understands them and they don't explain things clearly. We need something that is more user-friendly

it's as userfriendly as you need them to be..
remember that spawning vehicles and all that isn't just something you do like opening an .odf or something.
if you don't understand the docs, you're simply not ready for that task and should just wait - because one day you'll understand it

I'm not trying to be mean at all, but there
is a tutorial written with the documentation that came with BF2 Tools.
Its Called:
GETTING STARTED.doc.
Near the end of that document it explains how to make vehicles spawn. Its one of the better written sections in the documentation, I was able to get a vehicle to spawn with minimal effort.
If you want more, I searched on this topic not too long ago.
