That Boltgun looks fairly easy to model. If no one does it first, I could try it out.

The only real Diet Dr. Pepper pain I am dealing with is this damned texturing and dummy rooting for my Assault Cannon for other projects, as you know already. Modeling for me is fine...but it is the stuff that comes after that really boggles the mind. Not the fact that I CAN'T do it...it's just kind of... overwhelming and a tad intimidating. I know I shouldn't, but my mind can handle so many things at once.
Just in-case though, it'd be wise if you did make one. Because it is most likely I won't get around to making it. The thought that counts though... but we'll see.

The "dummyroot" is just a null(Get>Primitive>Null) named "dummyroot" which should be the parent to all of the objects in your scene.

Currently I am using the darktrooper model for the marines, but the scouts, according to the game, are not completley geneticly modified, and they don't wear as big or powerful armor.
How would I do the skeleton thing? Just change a line somewhere in the odfs? Ill try that.

I think he means the Phase 3 dark trooper model (its a bit bigger than the normal one)

And I tried the gammorean skeleton thing, he walked in a wierd way, I think Ill stick with the old one.

Just some orks by the way, they don't look very good but they'll do for the beta. Sreens:
The urban map will be released really soon as a beta for the mod itself. Now Im a grass-Hoth map as a model and it will have 8 conquest battles in it, the ctf and assault will also be conquest, but all modes will have lots of units, like uber-mode. I have some trouble placing vehicles without ZE but Ill manage somehow.

i like the look of this. i know nothing about warhammer, but i know someone who does. he'll probably like this. one question though: will this go over the existing stuff or will it be like the mini-mod released with aaroyo pass and have stock maps with the new units seperate?

Sounds good, the old one was really just coloured green, didn't really look like a sentinel.

Here my first try it's not very good but its a start. Took me about 15 minutes
Maybe it looks better ingame.

(Can't get ingame screen because I don't have the modtools anymore.)

Looks awesome to me. Ill try it ingame right away.
edit: It looks fine really, but because some parts of the skin is used at several places on the model some things look a bit wierd at some spots bu you don't really notice.
