Guru must have a subscription because I've been at it on fileplanet for 3 hours already and its only halfway through. I am about to go the 3dgamers route!!!!!!! Use 3dgamers.com people!!! Its faster and you can still get on if you have a fileplanet or gamespy account.

Holy crap. 523 KB/s! Jeez. It's only going to take me about 25 minutes to download this one. Thanks for the link, Bandu.

You gotta keep clicking it. I got the "Page Cannot be Displayed" too, but after clicking the link a few times, it eventually popped up with a download. Went pretty fast for me, too. Though, it depends on your connection speed also. I had a friend download it from the same link, and his ended up taking about 2 hours to complete.
I played the demo though, and I gotta say, it's pretty cool. Now, this kind of strategy/tactical kinda game isn't my cup of tea... I never really did like 'em. But, after playing the demo a bit, it's actually pretty fun. The space battles in particular are really fun. Action-packed and chaotic; just the way I like it. Though, the ground combat (for me) is extremely difficult. I'm having trouble getting the hang of it... then again, that's probably because I tried assaulting an entire Imperial-controlled planet with a few squads of troops and a couple tanks... -_-

You're welcome, generator'... However, I'm surprised to learn that a GameToast member still wishes to get Star Wars : Empire At War Demo, knowing that the full game is already available in stores...
