RELEASED: Caprica

Decided to finish it after it had been sitting on my HD for 11 months untouched.

Expect within the month Ez'Shz and Narcissus to be released as well. I'm sick and depressed and Its very hard for me to concentrate on any one thing right now without getting extremely bored, This is a pain because I wanted to do so much more with these maps but I don't have the will to do them, Making the maps is fine, but once I get to the tedious(sp?) work of making the sides, fixing bugs, etc, It drives me off.

'Nayway,

Things that have been removed:
- Vehicles, Maps way to small for them.
- Dual weapons on the SBD, just doesn't work well enough, the near invisible bullets kill the illusion of dual weapons and the fact that the other arm faces down... lol.
- Tunnels, AI got confussed and lost.

Map Name: Caprica
Created By: Penguin
Work Time: 19 hours, spanned over 13 months.
Version: 1.0 FINAL

----------------------------------------------
DESCRIPTION
----------------------------------------------

Long awaited side map that I've created when I've been bored, Worked a total of 19 hours over the span of 13 months :O yeah, lazy...
Based on the new Series of Battlestar Galatica. This map was used as a test map for new models and some tricks, You won't notice much
tricks that I did with the ODF's but I was experimenting with secondary Orandance .odfs and a mass of parent .odfs.

YOu will however, notice, if your settings for Bloom are on, that the sky glows, Anyone wondering how it was done, just take the yavin
sky and edit the alpha channel so its all black (Transparent).

This map came to me when I was testing out giving the SBD's weapons a hack for a working muzzleflash. When I noticed that If I changed the
skin around It looked somewhat like a Cylon, SO I whipped up a quick map and sides along with some models.

This was a map spawned from a test and a wild idea, If there are bugs (Which there are, but I was to lazy to fix, Most notable bug is
the Z-Fighting on some areas of the road) I'm sick and Depressed with no will to fix the map up, SO DEAL WITH IT!

Played it a few hours ago, great map. Although adding a mini-map wouldn't hurt. Only played the Republic side, haven't tried the other side yet, will do that later tonight.

Now, are you going to send me those weapons or do I have to hijack your computer somehow? :P

Excellent map! Great atmosphere as always Penguin. So immersive, I don't care about the floating rubble or the Z overlap.

Thanks for the fun!

Great map. Love the rifles, teaches you a lot about the benifits of short bursts and without ammo droids it makes you use ammo wisely. Finding cover also helps as they all tend to zero in on you at the same time :D
Had to play three times before I could win against the bots even then only had five guys left. Very challenging

IF you get the sniper you can get 3-8 kills at one time just by camping an area where the Cylons run towards you because they hang in small tight groups, aim and click fast lol.

Explosive bullets take some practice to use but once you can use them well you can easily get the sniper.

PS: I'll be releasing the P90 and SeveN-Five .mshs later today so people can make use of them.
