Sorry for the confusion. The map I was talking about was very accurate to D.U.C.K.'s description. It was all the coolness of an in-atmosphere battle without all the mess of air to ground combat. I have played capital down map before, but never capital strike. I was thinking along the lines of a battle above the treetops in kashyyk with a big tree in the center. The tree in question that has a bunch of branches to dodge, something which couldn't be achieved as well in space. That is all.
P.S. I'll be sure to check out the capital strike maps.

And i tought, you finish your projekt soon, so you may need an other project. You are one of the Person, i would say, You can do this.

Offtopic: Try out TFU1, I really enjoyed it. I personally skipped out on TFU2(it's not as good).

I loved both TFU games. I think TFU2 was too short imo. Lucasart wanted quick profits I guess.

i think i buy TFU 1 because you are not the first telling me, that's much better.
So here on topic.
1st i'm a really bad moder
2nd i'll pass Abi this year so i've much to do and can not try and learn moding
3rd i've allways really great ideas (i think).
here are some Pics, of an possible Deathstar map.
Would be awesome if some one can do this project, who has allways did some other maps and so has much experiences.
It schould be an combination with Space battle. If there is something you don't understand pls ask me

Get TFU2 I have and its really fun and really challenging at some parts.

I have a mod idea :
As the stock sides are a bit dull, I made replacement side files ( new models, new effects...).
It's online compatible as I only changed models and effects.
However, I didn't made any of the models, I only did the coding, so I didn't released it.
My idea is to transform my mod into everyone's mod :
I will create a topic then everyone will can post ideas for the weapons, unit models and then some of the ideas will be in a poll .There will be a poll for each unit and each weapon , so it will take a while. When the poll is finished the winning weapon /unit model
will be included in the mod.
I think this will be useful for :
-non-modders:they will can choose what is in a mod without all the coding and work
-model creators: they will can promote their models
The topic will be created soon as the beta is already done, but, as I said, it is subject to changes .

I had thought about making a Minecraft map, I've just been too busy to do it. I've got way more ideas than I do time. It would look a lot like Minecraft, but play more like Battlefront. The AI would get stuck a LOT though.
Basically it would feature hundreds of destroyable blocks, and other blocks too.
Dirt - Low Health
Wood - Medium Health
Stone - High Health
Lava - Small Damage Region inside each "block".
Obsidian - Unlimited Health
Maybe even creeper locals. Their only weapon would be well... you sssssshould be able to guesssssss...

I get the feeling that a Minecraft map isssss one of the few thingsssss that can really put a dent on the game'ssssss performance...
