game crash/custom maps

ok so i got the custom maps to work but theres one small problem.
them game crashes after i play custom maps, also some maps just crash the game before they are done loading. the version im at is 1.2. do i need to update again?

how many custom maps do yo have in the addon folder? also, you probably coulda put this post in your previous thread.

not much, only map packs 1-4, about 30, maps maybe less

You may notice that the last 5 maps on the list are the ones that crash completely. You can only have 25 maps at a time for some reason, with patch 1.2. It is however the main patch. Patch 1.3 is permanently beta.
This thread tells you how to install patch 1.3 beta and keep patch 1.2.
Other crashes are likely a result of random map crashes. Try lowering graphics settings, including view and lod distance.
