as lase pointed out...we can easily fix the broken site themes, I dont see any broken ones when im using the site, but if you let me know or penquin supplies fixes we can have the sites layouts repaired.

as far as ads...The new server costs $170 more then it used to, instead of begging people to donate, we have put all files online, unlimited bandwidth and speedier servers , we have ads, no one visits if the ads that keep gt alive are not in a visible place. Each theme has 1 or 2 ads on it that no one could see or werent able to visit previously as we noted from statistics. the ads are easily avoided at the top or bottoms of each page, and each ad plainly state next to them that they are ads so its easy to spot, but they are easily clicked without having to scroll all over, if one wishes to visit a sponsor.

Without going into a massive post about it , gt will be supported by those who can take time to visit its sponsors when they offer something of interest , your time is appreciated and will directly assist in the greatness that is gametoast, the mecca of swbf series modding. Its possible in the future we could setup an "ads will dissapear for members" option and details would be presented at that time. This is the method we must make and currently the ads you see is all that support the site other then donations from time to time , we feel its fair for 6 years of hosting this site and if you like , block the ads, if you like gt, show us support and we all will prosper. For now eat your toast!

I know I am not the only one that sees this flaw. I sent Penguin a PM as well, she can probably supply you with the correct CSS and images.

In the meantime, I supplied you with fixes, which make it better than the state it is now:

[quote="RepSharpshooter"]OK I took the liberty of correcting the style.css

Penguin will have to redo the rollover row1forum effect. In addition, cat_head.gif is missing.

The rest of the broken images are here:

I don't know if you're looking for back-up, but I, too, have that problem (although I didn't notice that anything was amiss until I saw Rep's comparison).

thanks for the updates guys, i added the css and the images , for some reason the background still wont load up but everything else appears as it should and look alot better. No clue why the backgruond doesnt show up, at least for me on a laptop but feel free to send over any other changes... i noticed in the admins area only 300 people are using the layout your talking about so maybe thats why there was only a few complaints.

Off topic: I'm unable to go to any previous page using IE back function, mainly if I'm reading a topic. Doesn't happen on any other site.

Sorry to post this here but I didn't think it was important enough to start a new topic.

I only ever used IE to download FireFox, but I decided to look this up just now. One can still go back, but it does take two tries to go back (then you can't go forward again). I took this picture to confirm that it is because of advertisement issues that this is happening.

I'll look into the CSS tomorrow, so guru can update it whenever he updates the theme.cfg

I think it's just a matter of making the hyperlink a different color from the body text.

I removed all ads from all styles of the site. There should be no google ad cookie conflicts. Thanks to some dumb kids here our ad income has been lost from clicking ads over and over.

I heard about the ads.... that's unfortunate. :(

I sent some updates to Guru that should fix that, along with the broken image paths.
