I think "better than" is open to anyones opinion, but I'll still accept the commentNull_1138 wrote:Dude, your Tatooine buildings far exceed mine.
Pretty good for starters. It's a shame you wouldn't be able to use it though.kooster wrote:I'm not that great at sketchup,
but I was bored and saw this thread and made this:
I didn't like how the top came out in the beginning, so I made it all complicated and stuff.
I guess the blade is going to be shaped like a star. Hehe.
Why wouldn't he?mswf wrote:Pretty good for starters. It's a shame you wouldn't be able to use it though.kooster wrote:I'm not that great at sketchup,

Isn't the object too detailed (too much sharp edges) for a lightsaber? (if not, then sorry)DarthRogueKnight wrote:Why wouldn't he?mswf wrote:Pretty good for starters. It's a shame you wouldn't be able to use it though.kooster wrote:I'm not that great at sketchup,

Depends. How many polies does that hilt have? And you can always make a simple cylinder, then give it a really good texture.mswf wrote:Isn't the object too detailed (too much sharp edges) for a lightsaber? I think that's pro only?Null_1138 wrote:Or go to Model Info. It looks like a blue circle with an "I" in it. Toggle your toolbars until you find it. Clicking on it will open a window that talks about the model. From there click on the Statistics line in the box to the left.

I dont have pro...
Wait, the Model Info is only in Pro? I don't get that, because I used to have the Free version, and Model Info worked for me then. Then I overwrit it unwittingly with the Pro. Now its expired, and it does stuff the Free version does, I think that's what its supposed to do. So, you download the Pro, then it expires, and reverts to the Free version. So, why wouldn't it work for Free verison?mswf wrote:You can download the free trial, you can use it for 8 hours total. Well, I don't know for sure, since I haven't really searched that hard, and I have the trial too.Null_1138 wrote:Wait, the Model Info is only in Pro?
