Height Distortion [Solved]

Umm, yea. I just made my first BF2 map, and it works successfully, but theres one problem. All the heights I put in the ground arent in the game! For example, I raised the ground under a bridge to make it look more realistic, then when i play the game, that raised ground wasnt there...instead the bridge was floating and I got a surprise when I got to the edge lol
So seriously, why are all my raised ground spots disappearing?

Your map size probably isn't powers of two, ie 128x128, 256x256, 512x512
So just change it to a power of two and you'll be good

Yea it is-I traditionally make all my maps 70x70.

70 isn't a power of 2
32 x 32 or 64 x 64 or 128 x 128 are the closet

and so on
70 isn't a power of two

Edit: I tried your solution, it didnt work. The hill the bridge was supposed to appear on disappeared again, and the land was still flat. I think the heights may have moved cuz I made a deep crease near a temple and then it appeared northwest under the stairs of an arch...

Terrain HAS to be a power of two. So 70x70 will make everything screwy in game. You have to start over or create all new terrain in a power of two.

Did you redo everything after changing it, and what is your map size?

After I checked the thread, I went to my map, changed the terrian size to 42x42, and it still has height mess ups.

Lol Sorry guess im not really thinking straight tonight-but ill change it to 64x64 and see what happens
Edit: Success! Heights all are in the right position guys! Thanks! Now I just have to add Satti's skins to it and it'll be ready for release [Problem Solved]
