Speaker problem

Lately, I've been having trouble with my computer speakers. Other times, at least one of them sounds really static-y and garbled, so I'm only hearing half of what I should hear. It's frustrating, since I can never hear the dialogue in videos when this happens. Does anyone have a solution to the problem?

Do you have any wireless stuff (including cellphones) in the room or are they next to a power cable?

It's plugged into the computer, and there are no wireless things in the room. The TV and stereo system is, though.

that can be one, or you need new ones.
