Since I was inspired by theed estate and recently watching my clone wars dvd, I decided I will make an arc level replacement mod.

What I plan to do: An arc bonanza! Every unit will be a different type of arc trooper, from a combat arc trooper to the dangerous arc air corps. all arcs will have their unique strenghts and weaknessess.

Unit types:

Arc Grunt: armed with his trusty modified blaster rifle he charges into battle with a steady hose of bullets hoping to get as many kills as possible before his hose dries up

Arc Demolitions: armed with his trusty Rocket launcher he eagerly awaits for an aat to turn the corner and get a rocket into the cockpit.

Arc pilot: Arc pilots are some of the best pilots in the galaxy though lightly armed their piloting skills are unmatched in a dogfight.

Arc sniper: Their marksmanship is unmatched their speed is unlike anything else with their lethal hunter-droids they can put an airstrike anywhere they want with their heavily modified sniper rifle they can easly win any conflict

Arc air corps: Look to the skys as the arc air corps. trooper zooms down towards the ground and starts slaughtering droids left and right with his stolen sith lightsaber and trusty emp launcher even without the standard arc armor these guys pack a punch.

This project has just started I have no release date but I am eager to test my modding skills. and this will be my "crash-course" in modding.

Things I might need: textures, (maybe) help, and a few beta testers. Please excuse my bad grammar, I am in a bit of a hurry.

Great! I don't know what I need texture-wise yet. If your concerned about balancing I'm going to do a "cis elite droid squad" when I'm done with this.

Ooo. I hate droidekas. Oh, well. Are you going to add a magna guard to it? Nevermind, that'll be a while yet. Anyway, I can skin a little, I'm average, but willing.

hmm... maybe you could put the ARC commander somewhere in there?

I like the ARC Commander. High-Explosive Grenades are fun....

The arc commander will be either the hero or the sharpshooter. depending on the feedback.

I think this great idea! I think your unit ideas are AWESOME! Can't wait!! If you need any advice/moral support feel free to ask/demand. I do not have any modding talent, unfortunately.

it would be cool if you could somehow skin one to look like Deltas Avatar. just recolor the armor and skirt thing and put a stormtrooper head with modifications. that would rock

Delta Squad's helms from RC wuld look nice as well, but would be harder to accomplish.

Since people say they can skin, I would like some "Arc-ish" vehicle skins for the vehicles and since Im not bieng completely movie/cartoon/comic accurate, I would like some different colored arc skins so theres an assortment.

I'll do some research and try it out either today or tomorrow.

Since power has been on and off due to this horrid storm, and I have been incredibly busy with school, I will Have the beta released hopefully thursday. But I never know my workload so I might have it as early as tonight, I dont know.

meh... i dont want to be mean or anything, but it seems a little plain, the only thing that i liked was the jet trooper with the lightsaber, everything else has been done before, try to do something original like modify the individual weapons

hey... can the pilots have something other than the carbine? would be better... like an emp grenade launcher... I saw in the shipped effects something about an "emp_mortar" explosion fx... you should take the imp mortar launcher and modify the trail effect to the emp nade and the explosion to the emp_mortar thingy and see how it comes out.

ya, you should rename the lightsaber so that it isn't 0x in-game... rename it to like imp_weap_lightsaber...
