me played, me like.

Question: did you save hi-res in Advance/Image, scale it down to 512x512 and repleaced geo1.tga in your World1 folder? When you fly, far does not follow color, not a big deal tho.

and some bots stand around and dont walk
and dont use some vehicles.

but its a nice map, i like it.

Thanx. That's high praise, coming from you, an excellent mapper!

O.K., I don't understand what you mean by "hi-res." Why replace geo1.tga? I never had that in my Wordl1 folder I think. That's the LOD problem, the textures appar only when you get close...sort of annyong. How do I fix it? I'll release a fixed 1.1 version when this error is fixed. Then, a 1.5 version when sound is fixed. Current version released is 1.0. So, please tell me how to fix that error completely. May I have your MSN to talk one-on-one about this?

Thanx! Glad you people like it! The bots don't move sometimes in shipped maps as well. They snipe, patrol, and wait for vehicles as well (when they are standing still).

O.K., here is the schedule for my map (1.0 is already released):

1.1 will be containing the LOD and texture distance fixes. This version will contain any other possible adjustments and fixes of minor errors (spacing out the MTT and Spider Droid a bit more, space out some other vehicles, etc.).

1.5 will be containing the sound fixes, so all vehicles have sound. This can be accomplished only after the new sound tools are released.

2.0 will be containing the Hovernaught if it is ever fixed and added. This version may not be possible.

2.5 will be containing the AT-PT is it is ever fixed and added. This will be the final version. This version may not be possible.

A few things i noticed:
Ticket setting are way to high. I played for about 10 mins and it only dropped from 1000 to 950. I also got the feeling that after the first 2 MTTs were destroyed the Droids stopped working. I came close to a droid SP and saw lot of vehicles and droids standing around didn´t do anything.
One suggestion: blend the brown hills. It´s hard to drive over them with a tank and i also noticed a MTT stopped near a hill and could make it over the hill.
Why are the shadows flat black? I noticed this also on the not man enough map. It doesn´t look realistic.
Tweak the object and terrain distance settings (check the sky LAU sticky here at this board) . The terrain dissapeared much earlier then the vehicles. One time i thought i saw a DROID ship still midair but once i came closer the terrain hill appears and in fact the vehicle stand on it.
Some naboo ruin objects don´t fit to the terrain and hang in air.
