ok so yesterday i tried to run the zero editor from inside the file you wish to use like i should. then the zero editor didnt work and a error message came up and said that there was to many programs going on with my computer. yet i had nothing running at all. so i decided to restart my computer. and when i retried it again

it said that a error had accourd and that it needed to shut down. then it said to send error report so i did. i thought it just did it once. it has done that error ever single time i tried. i even uninsytalled and reinstalled the mod tools. and its still sending the error report and wont let me work on my map. can you guys suggest anything. or is it dead and i should leave the moding to the pros

Sending error reports usually don't help, so don't bother. Do you have any background processes going on (antispyware for example)?

I get that problem with sending error reports all the time on most programs on XP, but it usually just happens randomly, not every time I try to do something. Anyway, I agree that sending error reports doesn't do anything. In fact, it seems like I've been getting more errors since the first time I sent one of them. The only time I ever got that error with Zero Editor though was when some part of my world's file got corrupted somehow. The only thing I can think of is to just make a new world and see if the problem still happens.

It doesn't sound like any virus, and what did you uninstall, the modtools?
