It's a JKA model of Anakin (I've a sith cloaked version of him who wait to be exported as SWBF 2 model). That for sure. The stock Anakin isn't that detailed.

what I want to know is how professional workers couldn't make realist characters and yet amateurs can, Lucas Arts should have gotten you guys to do it

HEHE. Simply put: these games were made in 2004 and 2005 receptively. Technology wasn't as good then. And video game companies these days tend to try and sell the console versions more, so they didn't really want the PC version to compete with others.

Well thats what pandemic had to work with in 2003-4. You need to remember that they didnt have a lot of the advancements and tools we have today. Its not like they could make a game with the graphics of a game like mass effect or battlefield 3 with the limitations they had in 2004. Computers with that kind of power didnt even exit back then. They were kind enough to give us mod tools and over time we learned how to make something appear like something from today, but not truly. The zero engine cant handle the high poly counts of modern models, so essentially there is a lot of smoke and mirrors to help emulate these new ideas.

Keep in mind that the art assets had to be optimized for the console builds (especially that of the PS2). That and Zero Engine is garbage when it comes to proper resource management among many, many other things. :d

Try re-downloading it. 7-Zip *and* WinRAR can extract the archive just fine for me.

Update your WinRAR or 7-Zip to latest version, it's the last solution that comes to my mind.
