Okay, who's seen it, and who liked it?
Personally, it is one of my favorite movies. I really liked all the action, and
Hidden/Spoiler:
the terminator who looked like Arnie
at the end was pretty cool. I thought Christian Bale did good as John Connor, and I liked Marcus Wright.
Overall, one of my fav movies.
Opinions?

I haven't watched it yet. I thought the third movie was a completely unecessary half-subtle attempt to gain money from the sucess of the first and second movie (which I love).

That may have changed in Terminator: Salvation, I recognize it is a possibility, so I won't judge it until I watch it myself. I'm unsure if it will be good though, I heard Arnold is not in this one and that kinda kills the mood; it's like watching Star Wars without the Force, lightsabers or blasters... but at least they have Bale, I find his Batman performance very interesting, I trust him as an actor.

I think Christian Bale is a pretty good actor too, but like Nihillo said, it's not the same without Arnie, which I happen to agree with. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is the best one in my opinion. And Nihillo was also right in my opinion when he said that Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines was an 'unecessary half-subtle attempt to gain money'. I thought that one was a real let down, but it showed the beginning of the war, so it was necessary in the series for that way, and allowed for Terminator: Salvation to get right into it.

Well, yeah, but they could have done that with a montage or something. Star Wars can tell a whole story with the opening crawl and a little help from the viewer's imagination.

True, Star Wars can do that, so you're right, the third one wasn't vital in the storyline depth. But then again, it's not completely fair to compare anything with Star Wars. And anyway, at least Arnie was in the third one, so that's a plus.

I watched Teminator Salvation and Transformers 2 in a Double Feature and i didnt liked it as an Terminator Movie. As an Sci-Fi/Action/ Movie it has some good Moments like
Hidden/Spoiler:
Escaping the Giant Terminator with an Truck, hunted by some Motorcycle Terminators and the T-800 Ending Fight.
Like also Nihillo wrote, T1 and T2 are pretty good Action Movies but T3 and T4 are only bulls....
They are made to make Money while using newest CGI and a minimum of a good Story.
I do not undestand why People like Bale as an Actor.I didnt liked him nor in Reign of Fire,Batman/Dark Knight nor in Terminator Salvation. But sure, hes better than LaBouf.

Arnold wasn't in this movie because he's too busy acting the part of THE GOVERNUH OF CALIFORNIAH!

The Arnold everyone saw in the movie was total CGI.
