Update.
Unmirrored helmet
can't tell but it's unmirrored I swear
Once I get the EP3 helm done, we will have several models for export and hopefully ingame by this weekend.

Can't you just open the existing swbf2 clone trooper model, and model binoculairs and shoulder pads on it?

If it were possible it would be, but it just isn't that simple.

We always do that in JA, but it seems BF is different ^^

The BF2 mshs cannot be opened or edited with XSI as they are already exported.

Yea I had to reconstruct the model, then relay the UV maps... so I figured why not unmirror the helmets and stuff

When you make a new model, you don't have them at all

ok update on Bly.
The model is complete, the UV maps are complete, but unlike Commander Cody, Bly has a kama and pauldron. The Kama is a 'cloth' entity, and needs to be exported propperly. I have looked at other models to see how to setup the cloth, and it appears I have to ad collision 'cylinders' onto his legs that react to the cloth otherwise it will just hang there and the legs will clip through it. This really isn't a big deal and I added invisable cylinders like i need to, but I have to figure out what the cylinder needs to be called and how it works in the hierarchy for a propper export.
Plus Qdin is still figuring out Commander Cody, and once he has fully deciphered the clone's wieghting system it should be simple for him to export in rapid succession the rest of my clones.

Can't wait for the release seriously. I will die

. How are you doing with the cloth? One thing is that it looks like the cape or kama is cut too far up. Meaning that where it is split, it goes to far up. I don't really know how it looks in game though. Probably fine.
Oh yeah one more thing, are you releasing this to the public when it's finished or are you going to let the people doing the CWRealism mod release it?
*goes back to staring at computer screen anticipating release*

Most if not all my models will first see use in OGEB's mod, then will be promptly released for the wide public to use... the purpose of Gametoast is to learn, and share what we make, know, find. Making all these models is useless if they are only going to see one map release.
I released the carbine before the CWRM had a chance to use them, but that is just a rifle, these guys are full player models.

Good Values to live by. I got all choked up inside. I respect that you are waiting for the Realism mod, afterall I guess that is what they are mainly for. Patience I must have

I'd hate to trouble you, but you said that the model of Bly was completed. Is it possible to give a photo?
