I gotta say, my Karag skin is looking rather nice in BF2. :D I am so glad my RP character from, heck, all the way back in 2005 was finally implemented somewhere other than my millions of text documents outlining a possible first episode of a machinima series. Karag Drakas as a character has come along way, and I'm honored to have him in the TEV era mod/this map. So I say once again, thanks for the implementation, AQT. :D Appreciate it.

@AirspeedRedux: Yes, yes it is. It's one of eight Imperial turbolaser turrets on the map. They are merely props, but I'm hoping that with their presence (along with the new banners on the lamp posts) will bring a feeling of Imperial occupation in this Naboo town. The campaign mission will expand more on this.
That's really cool, definitely adds to the quality of a map when we can see what we're fighting for. Campaign mode sounds like it could be cool!

Exactly what i thought.

Ooo, this looks great! The Naboo sides were my favorite sides from TEV (you know how much I love the Dark Troopers :P) so it's cool to see them reworked into a fresh new map.

As Yuke said, there has never been a map or mod made by you which I didn't like, so I'm sure this will be a pretty good reason to get back into Battlefront II for a while.

This looks amazing! Can I ask why the Hero's feet look like misshapen triangles? And one suggestion would be to add more shine to the Dark EVO Trooper. It looks odd when the normal images you see of an EVO Trooper are when they're looking at the camera, with shine all over their front faceplate. Just a thought for you. But everything else looks freakin' sweet.

@Revan: No problem. :thumbs:

@Nihillo: Thanks, and that's good to hear. :D

@JAWSFreelao: The stock Stormtrooper model has feet like that too. Also, the Dark Novatrooper has the same amount of shininess as the normal Novatrooper. It just depends on an object's position in relation to the source of light, like in real life.

Sorry about calling them EVOs, it's sort of the first thing i think of. That, and I'm tired. But yeah, just watch how the light changes. Because in some cases, light can reflect onto other characters. It just depends on the (A) light, and (B) angle.

I don't know if you already started making the campaign yet, but what if Archer was a boss? Like after retaking the city as Rebels, an elite team of Storm-Commandos are deployed to re-take the re-taken city and you fight them? Just a quick thought. I'm a little bit jumbled because the sheer potential (and likely) awesomeness of this map is staggering.

I haven't started the campaign yet, but I'm leaning towards having it be played from the Imperial side (I don't think Archer would make a very good boss, in my opinion). I guess you can think of this as a sequel to the Death Watch Bunker campaign. The premise of it will be very much as you had described, Yuke. :)

Small update: Randomized environmental settings have been implented, and they are:

A little bit before noon:

Evening:

Campaign mode has been dropped since the map just wasn't designed for it. Things left to do are to fix up 2-Flag CTF mode and implement XL mode, plus a few other minor things. Expect a release some time soon. :)

Captain Okto and the Rebel SpecForce Marine look amazing. Of course the other units and the surrouding are great too and the imperial banners give the scene a unique taste.
Even though the size of Captain Okto's weapon seems to be extraordinary big, I really like the fact of a simple man, carrying a big gun. I know it's up to you, but I would give the AT-ST Walker custom weapons.

Good work at all! :thumbs

Edit: Just saw the new pictures of the early morning enviroment. Awesome.

Although I like evening best, each time of day shows that you put a lot of effort into it. Great work
