Snork wrote:But Force Droids? Droids cant use the Force. Battle droids are flimsy and uncowardinated. Remember, all the battle droids had to be controlled by a mainframe, as seen in Episode I. Force Droids would be too overcomplicated to program with lightsabers. Magnagaurds and Grevious were partly Sentient Beings, therefore they were not controlled by a mainframe, and could learn things like Melee fighting. Melee fighting Battledroids would be too exspensive to mass produce.

For another thing, Lightsabers arent exactly as easy to come by as Lollipops are they?

Man, If only...

Grevious was a kaleesh warlord. War was central to the kaleesh culture.
Grevious wanted to have his kaleesh elite as his body guards but dooku said no. So they ordered the IG-100 series which were also known as Magnaguards.
So Grevious was completely sentient.

well, the same name error occurs in Force Pike. They are used by the royal guards but the pikes have nothing to do with the Force. so you could say the name stands for:

dark: evil sided

force: very powerful assaulter

droid: its a droid

Should I call them Dark Saber Droids, then?

Sounds too.....I dunno....kind of too compromised.
Something cooler would be better (duh).
Something like Dark Assault Droid, or PB-189 Melee Droid, or something like that.

EDIT: Wow, I used the word "something" a lot in that post

What about the weapon for it. Lightsabers doesn't really fits for droids...How 'bout the stick for the magna guard? Cancel the purple glow and you get...a prototype magna droid. :D

Nah. Let em have sabers. They look cooler. It's Darth's map and if he says they have sabers then well...they have sabers. I think the name should remain cause of what Coda brought up. :D

Keep as is for the droids dude. I like them as they are!!

Yep, very nice droids. But the clones screams "Palpatine! Take him out!" when they see Armonus.

I would say stick with the sabers just maybe remove the block, that makes them kinda cheap.

my review:

-hey, what happened to my flamethrower idea on the dark force droids?

-make the dark force droids die by either: falling down or exploding or both

-nice Inspire Allies tecnic. but have you ever heard of Battle Meditation?

-the turrets on kassyyk shouldnt be able to turn in a 360 degree angle otherwise you can have the gun pointing at you.

-you need ATTEs! painted with the legion markings of course.

-Xagobah hanger has a pit where you can glitch through(check the place out, you will know what i mean)

got more bugs

Xagobah: hangar entrance has a gap in the ceiling

engineer droid can get an AWARD shotgun

Murkhana: CPs 2, 3 and 1 are floating

you need a death region at the bottom of the map.

Kassyykk: when respawning at CP 5, there is a chance you can respond very far from the CP itself and glitch through the ground

General: why do Dark Force Droids dont cost points?

uh, sorry for the mini-bump, but the Xagobah map does not load for me, even on the lowest video settings. I could use some help please.

as far as gameplay goes, Murkhana rules, great atmosphere with the lighting and I was surprised how good the map looks with the combo of Bespin and Mygeeto props.
