(WIP) Rainbow Road 64

Hello everybody, I returned from my modding stuff back to you and I also have some great new stuff for you.
If you liked the old Mario Kart 64 game then I'm sure you all will like following map for Sw-bf2.
The reason why? Well, the reason why is right here, due to it's the Rainbow Road from Mario kart 64 and this map does look exactly identical like the rainbow 64 track.
In addition, this map is done by 80%.
Anyway, you all ask me what's missing? Well it's really easy what is missing and the things which do still miss are the karts plus their characters.
If you think know where is still sw-bf2?
Answer: It's almost gone, but the graphics will still remember you that you play sw-bf2.
But enough of boring talk now.
Here some details listed "What is done?" in a chart.
-Rainbow Road model (Modelled and skinned by me) /Got some help by texturing from darthduck.
-Star constellations pics(Mario,Toad,Peach ect.)
-Start/Goal
-Background(not sure if it's good enough)
Still in progress:
-Racescript of Maveritchell(I still try to get it work.)
-A few Bug fixes
-Karts/Characters

omg this looks epic! but, are you forced to drive the bikes, or is it non-scripted? cause i think it should definately have a mode where your racing for a mission or something.

Looks awesome, but how are you going to implement single player?

What the hey? May I crush your dreams for a second? Even the mighty Mav couldn't get the racers to race properly. He even said so himself (unless something changed). The only way this will work is if it is online. I suggest that you have a conquest mode available too (make a conquest layer and make a level with a similar theme but for a shooter friendly playing style)

It's definitely possible, but it requires a separate, AI-specific set of vehicles and code. That old race script was the first thing I'd ever used Luascript for; it's not complicated at all.

huh. How about that. I guess anything is possible when you have fairy dust and happy thoughts. I must say though, I love the work put in to the models. Nice.

Unfortunately I never owned Mario cart, but judging by the screenshots this looks a *lot* like one of those old atari-esque games, really nice looking!

Can we see wireframes of the models? No offense, but this looks too true to the original not to be a straight rip out of Mario Kart 64.
