You mean that you want the source files? No, I don't think that you'll get them easily. If you really want to make another Alderaan, start by reskinning some Bespin assets and go from there to make your own.

There was a lvl file released in the Released Assets forum that lets you add that Kit Fisto to your own map or mod. Search it if you're interested.

How can you not have enough RAM. It's only 1 gig.
How much games you got...
Anyway the full conversion pack owns.

The game doesn't get slowed down because of installed mods. Try turning shadows off, that always helps.

Pause menu -> options -> video -> shadows (drop down menu, set it to low) -> Press the "done" button in the bottom right.
That should get you going.

Not sure I follow. You do have the game's disk, correct? And are you installing the correct patch? There's a couple different versions: International English CD-ROM, International, and English. So if you have the DVD version, the CD-ROM patch won't work, for example.

If you have the DVD version, you don't need to patch.

I have the DVD version which I purchased in 2006 that installed as 1.0 and I needed the 1.1 patch.

Try this:
Hidden/Spoiler:
PROBLEM:
I installed the International patch, and guess what - I now get a 'Please insert original disk' error when trying to launch the game. And yes, I'm using a 100% legitimate install with retail CDs of the game.
SOLUTION:
Apparently the solution to the 'International Patch' problem involves the following:
1. If you've already installed the International Patch, you will have to totally uninstall the game, (You can save your savegames by backing up the \Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\SaveGames\ directory), and reinstall the game. If you haven't yet installed the Internationl patch, you can just skip to step 2.
2. Go to the \Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\Install directory.
3. Open the Launcher.xml file using Notepad.
4. About 7 lines from the bottom of that file, find the line:
<Version domestic="false" demo="false" update="false" />
and change it to:
<Version domestic="true" demo="false" update="false" />
(i.e. the domestic= variable changes from false to true).
5. Close and Save the file.
6. Now download the Domestic 1.1 Patch, and it should install on your SWBFII. Remember, if it doesn't after following the above steps, it means you have to do a full uninstall/reinstall of the game, then do steps 2-5 above, then install the Domestic Patch only.
