This is all my BFII assets ive moded, many of which i used in my Yavin map. It includes new, improved, and acuratized weapons, units, vehicles and star fighters. Its mainly ODFs.
NOTE: This pack doesnt include MUNGED files or whole MSH files becuase that would make the file a monster size, but i have included a couple of texures that i thought might be needed.
If you want to use the AT-XT (by Psychofred), the Republic Commando (by NeoMarz, DC-17m by Qdin, released by Majin), or the any of the clone units (they use the DC-15s model by Dragonum) youll need to have the MSH files if you dont already have them. I have provided links to them below.
http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/;69557
http://www.secretsociety.com/forum/down ... t_beta.zip
INSTALATION: once downloaded youll have a "all" "imp "rep" "cis" and "common" side. Extract them with a RAR extractor anywhere you want. they are organized just like the shiped sides so you should know your way around them. Just to make sure, when you use any of them MAKE SURE you have the corisponding MSH files too.
PS:
If you want to edit them only do so if its needed
If you need help useing them please tell me

when you release assets, it would be great when you read the readme files correct

sory Dragonum, ill fix that.
i whiped this together in like 5min so i might of forgoten some things. I just noticed i didnt include the stealth droid skin or 00M-9s carbine model (which the clones also use) and theres an adjustment i need to make to the new laser texures. ill upload a newer version tomarrow cause its late right now...
but besides that there should be no prob. i actually use these for my BFII side instead of Pandemics.

I made major update to this. Ive made sure i included everything needed and made sure there no problems with ODFs.
Ive also included a bunch of new units (Black Storm, shadow trooper, Stealth droid and some others), some skins, and some weapon models, including Jangos Westar-34 blaster (which i made). Theres also some documents to guide through the assets. Its also in ZIP format this time
something anyone modding should definently look into.

well actually theres only the WESTAR-34 pistol thats actually 'new'. but it includes some things like 00M-9s carbine in it, which link broke, and saturns magna staff. I had some other weapon models i was working on but i didnt think they were done enough so they arnt in it... let.

yeah wuts this cis_weap_inf_blaster.odf stuff?

the cis_weap_inf_blaster.odf (or anything ending in "blaster") is a better version of the normal pistol, it is more powerfull and faster then the normal pistol but it has ammo.

Well, the Wiki is down, so I need a bit of help. How do I even get these working? In my ASTc_con.lua, I change all lines pertaining to riflemen as rep_inf_commando, and I even added the ODF to the ODF folder of my rep side in data_AST/sides/rep/ODF. Also, somewhat unrelated, in Majinrevan's commando source file pack, I added all files to do with the DC-17M into my MSH/ODF folders. Now the troopers use it, but it's invisible. How do I fix all this?

I hate to bump the thread, but I couldn't resist pointing out an error - the DC-15S Blaster Carbine was made by OOM-9, not Dragonum. Dragonum made the DC-15s Side Arm Blaster.

IMPORTANT
sorry to bump my thread and all but i got a couple PMs about the DC_15 so i think i should make everyone knows how to fix the prob.
If you are useing OOM-9s DC-15 blaster theres a texure i forgot. Its an easy fix though, the skin is exactley the same as the republic pistols.
Just copy "rep_1st_weap_inf_pistol" and rename it "noIcon". Do the same with its option file and it should work fine.

What about rep_1st_weap_inf_pistol_real.tga? Don't you need all the textures for it to work?

same thing. "noIcon" and "rep_1st_weap_inf_pistol_real" are the same as "rep_1st_weap_inf_pistol". Just copy & rename.

Thanks alot Syth it worked perfectly, it was weird though, I renamed everything noIcon (noIcon.msh and noIcon.tga. in some cases) and I munged and got three errors but in game it works perfectly.
Thanks also for answering my other question.
