Announcing Ep.3 Utapau XL CONQUEST

Began this one this weekend. Includes some animation for effect(Gunships dropping off and providing support)...XL battle scale in Conquest...AI controlled Hero's..Playable Gunships..etc.

I have less flexibility here than in Geonosis...so any suggestions would be welcome to make it more cinematic and epic.

Not sure of release date yet...need to tie up some other projects first. Probably about a week.

Sweet! I;ve been waiting for someone to do this. You could expand the level - have it take up half of the sinkhole - that way, there is more room for gunships and stuff to maneuver.

I cant wait to see your take on this. Your Geonosis level is hands down the best in the game. I agree with the guy above me, it needs to be bigger. Some wreckage or objects in the highways make the battle a lot more fun. Speeder bikes might work here too.

Suggestion: so im reading the book right now and i've just got to the part with ob-wan on utapau wierdly enough.

Anyway my suggestion is to have an assualt cruiser hover over head of the city. Blocking the entrance to the cityscape.

There u have a place for your LAATs to take off.

EDIT: i'll make it better sense. The city is in a sink hole and in the book "Vigilance" hovers in the top of the sink hole.

You should try make an order 66 ramdom thingy. Like you are playing as Kenobi and the clones just go red on the HUD

You must remember that this is going to be hard. If you have looked at the Utapa assests and world in zeroeditor you will realize that there isn't that much room and possibilites.

remodel it to make it look like the movie. I think it's basically the other way around, but try and add in some more levels as well.

Utapau with 108 Units is brutal! Tight quarters.

This is going to play out like a beach invasion. REP will spawn at dropzone platforms and fight (attempt) their way into the complex. AA turrets pound into them as soon as they step off the Gunships.

Im in process of making a land mass below the compound with a spiral land ramp leading down to it. I might try to put some water down there as well. Like I said..I need to finish my other maps before I finish this one...but its coming along.

In the movie, the hangar was actually on the other end of the map (so, looking from an LAAT viewpoint, it's meant to be on the right rather than on the left). Is it possible to correct this detail?
