Red Water from ROTE#3 is on my map

Low rez water:

Some people said to me that it should be meant to be blood, but I just don't believe them...
My FX and water files are from dagobah, with minor changes.
I browsed looking for dag_water (something like that) and realized that the texture was all red! I changed it and when i played teh game the water was light blue. The error message said that targa10 files aren't suported (?) So I put the default texture and is now red.



I would love to see a replay on this topic, cause nowadays topics mentioning water don't call atention...

Just use water from a different map. I don't know how to fix it but unless you really need Dagobah water it'd be easier to use Kamino or Kashyyyk.

When saving, select save as, and uncheck RLE compression in the pop-up box.

you can also change the water color from the fx file under "pc parameters". Or maybe that's just the underwater and refraction colors.

But yocki, I don't see why you're having this problem. I've used dag water and it's fine.

But did you have your water settings in low rez?

thx for all the help but I think I'm using dagobah water... It's the more convincing water for oceans, since kamino doesn't have a low rez texture.

And is not a big deal to put the water detail on mid is it? :wink:

and yes, the red water is from the low rez water. The mid and high rez are ok.
