Happy staring, we need to wait for a staff member (mostly Mav

) to review it.

But last time I checked there is a difference between submitting it to SWBF2 Filefront for review and uploading it to Filefront File Database directly using your filefront account. So I don't think he technically needs to wait for anyone to review it on BF2 Files. This is my understanding on how the Filefront network works anyways. Been like that for awhile and I don't know if it's changed or something.

If he is uploading it to normal FF then no, no review is required.
I assumed he is uploading it to swbffiles.

Fair enough.

The visuals, also, could use quite a bit of touching up - not only is the juggernaut's texture rather out-of-place, but the edges of the map are sharply visible.
Aside from downpowering the turrets, why not make them manable? So your own units can take them over as you go along?

Report: The back of the rocket launcher for the CIS/Militia is missing part of the mesh from what it seems.
I also suggest moving the auto-turrets which are on the beach up near the sea wall, maybe behind a little ways, just a little, it's a bit overkill stuffing them near the landing crafts.
I think the CPs of the Landing crafts shouldn't be able to be captured, imo, as a second thought (since I helped try and plan this with you).
The bunker turrets should be able to be manned imo.
Maybe a bit more units, but actually I don't really have a problem with unit count, it was action packed enough for me.
One of the weapons for the Republic isn't textured, forgot which, I'll post some screens later. But overall, it's awesome.
Other than that, it's fine to me personally. Also I think the Juggernaut shouldn't go as fast as it does, it kinda breaks immersion seeing it speeding really fast across everything and jerking about. I think it should be a tad slower.
But yeah, I was mostly fine with it.

To expand on the turrets:
Something tells me you based this entire map on an opening scene from the movie Saving Private Ryan. While that can make an epic and bloody film, it's not a very good idea to replicate that deathtoll in a map.

Ahah! LOL! The classes will help you capture the beach as the Republic 501st Legion. I forgot too name the classes when releasing the map. They will be added in an updated version. Meanw hile here they are from top to bottom:
Classes
-------------------
Infantry
Ranger
Medic
Turbotank Driver
Assault
Sniper
Engineer
Tips
-------------------
Infantry are good for support against all enemy infantry types
Rangers are good for busting up MGs with HEP = High Explosive Packs
Medics are good for healing all soldiers. Good against rifleman.
Turbotank Driver is good for support against MGs. Also holds ammo packs for refill troops. He is meant to drive and shouldnt engage in direct combat unless to reach and fill a soldier indeed and defend him self while atempting.
Assault troopers are good for close combat against all infantry types
Sniper is good for long range against all infantry types
Engineer is good for repairing vehicles, destroying cannons and single MGs using satchel charges.
Hero is good for almost anything.
Beachhead, use rangers too destroy MG implacements. Also use Turbotank Driver for support against the MGs.
Use an Engineer and drive up the beach too the cannons and destroy them.
Then use all other classes too win over the CP's

Hey Ice. Talk to me on MSN sometime, man. :p Thanks for the advice btw. Also, mind fixing the texture of that one weapon I mentioned in my report?
I'll tell you more in depth later.

Well thats great in theory, but the AI don't do that.

LOL!! lets just say that 90% of the time they may not do that. At times you will see an AI throw a HEP when they are out of thermals and not getting sherded by MG fire.
But in short, Tips for the player! Not AI

Yes. I was actually thinking this. It was tips for the player, not really for the AI.

Therein lies the problem. Your team of stupid AI soldiers has no clue what to do, leaving you to take care of most of it.
