I'm a big fan of the Zelda games, I've played a goodnumber of them and like them a lot. The only problem is that the only gaming devices whcih are available to me to play with are gameboy and the comp. Does anyone know if any of the games have been made for pc units, or if any are planned?

Yeah, a lot of good zelda games for GB
And yeah, nintendo would never allow a zelda game on a non-nintendo, exept in the case of the cd-i (Shudder)

Nintendo's never made a pc game, and never will, probably.

Thats why there are Emulators.
And if your gonna get one I advise:
PJ64 = for Nintindo 64 games
ZSNES = for SNES games
DreamGBC = for Gameboy Color games
Any consoles above that are currently Illegal I belive.
I have a Gamecube emulator, but not games(ROMs) for it.
Maybe its the more current ROMs that are Illegal, I'm not sure.

Kind of off-topic:
I thought all emulators were legal, but not the ROMs for it...
On-Topic:
The Zelda series is awesome. I think I've played all of them except for The Minish Cap for GBA. And I've never played the Four Swords games, but I barely count those as Zelda-games.
My favorite Zelda games are Ocarina of Time (N64) and Twilight Princess (GC). A Link To The Past for the Super Nintendo is kinda awesome too.
Man, I love my Super Nintendo... xD

*Would move this to "Game Informer" if he could*
It would be awesome to play a Zelda game on a computer. If Nintendo made a Zelda game for PC (which didn't suck, of course), it would sell big-time.

Yes it would! And I'd be one of the first in line to buy it!

I think it's the other way around, because some ROMs are still under Copyright, etc. But let's not get into a Legal Debate here.

There's no Zelda for the PC and there'll never be one.
The Zelda roms are illegal, even the really old ones, since the Virtual Console has them now.

You said the exactly same thing as I there... Except you got the copyright thingy in it
If I had said Illegal up there then I would see the sense in your post there.
One of us have made some kind of misunderstanding here...
I agree we should'nt go into a legal debate here.

That sucks...
Oh well, don't ask, don't tell.

You want ZeldaClassic. It's basically a PC remake of the original LOZ; it's been around for a while, and you may have already seen it. It's good, though, if you can't find anything else and don't want to dabble in the dubiously legal.

I want a legal debate! Its techinaclly not political, so no rules are broken

Well, it touches on discussing warez, which is verboten. We'll have none of that.

Lol, Verboten.
That Zelda classic looks cool, even an editor, so you can make your own quests and stuff.

<.< When I said legal I meant talking about various lawyers XD
