If the problem is what I think it is, all you need to do is remove the lines for award weapons in the units' ODFs and change the award value to -1 in the weapons' ODFs.

Weird, I have yet to achieve the award weapons in this map, so I was never able to test to see if it crashes. Me, I just experience quite a bit of FPS drops in certain portions of the map. It could be all the burning FX lying around the map, but I've been on a map with those before and I was fine, so I have no idea what it could be. If I didn't experience such performance drops in certain areas, everything would be great.
It's nice to see all the Anti-Air flying into the air. It's pretty cool and gives a bigger feel to the battle. And I love the back blast effect on the MiniMag PTL. Really gives the launcher a more powerful feel and it makes more sense than just the warhead flying forth from it.

You could play it with low video settings. My computer can't handle this map on high settings either but I am using a notebook so that's maybe why.
Yeah I actually got this idea when I was playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare. You know the mission when you have to reach the tank and defend it? In the background you can see anti-air (in my case anit-orbit) turrets firing too!

I kinda gross out at low settings and most of my stuff is low as it is regarding this machine, but also some settings at medium. I keep lighting at low because my laptop chokes at anything higher, so it's low-med settings mostly. It's just this computer kind of...well, this laptop isn't the greatest and isn't made for gaming. It's not an old laptop. About a year or so old. Just isn't all that made for gaming in any sense (ugh at Mobile Intel integrated graphics. Makes me want to put a heavy blaster pistol to my forehead), it's not a gaming laptop like some others I've seen on the market. This is why I want my desktop back up and running. More power. UNLIMITED POWWWWWAAAAHHH! .... *cough* I apologize for that, I got a bit out of hand...anyways...
The FPS drops aren't too incredibly massive depending on which direction I am looking, so...it's playable for the most part and that's all I ask of this machine of mine. I just thought I should note the FPS drops in-case someone here is playing on a low-med setup. Soon (I don't know how soon...) I should be getting a med-high rig setup, so perhaps I can help with benchmarking or something for your map.
Cheers. It is really a great map, IMO.

Wow. Simply wow. Like Revan, I was never able to achieve award weapons, so I couldn't test the crash bug. Also, running at everything to the highest, the only time I got a FPS drop was when I got hit directly in the face with a rocket.

The "find-cover-or-you-won't-last-5-seconds" feature of this map also makes it much more realistic while playing.
I love the AA fire in the background, it gives the map a much more "realistic" feel. You did a great job with the prop placement and FX. However, I would reccomend dimming the lighting a tiny bit to make it feel more like night.
All in all, this is an absolutely astonishing map, and it has eraned a permanant spot in one of my (many) addon folders. I look forward to seeing even greater maps from you in the future.

Thanks man
I had trouble with adjusting the lightning but this will also be included in the next version.
Could you guys tell me which weapons crash the game?

The award rifle and the award pistol (because, if it was just the award rifle, the game wouldn't crash, the award rifle would simply be unavailable ) I didn't tested the other award weapons yet,but I will edit my post if I test them, but I think all the award weapons cause crashing.

After careful experimentation, (shooting random things :atatpilot: ) I have determined that the explosions from the rockets on the ground are the cause of the FPS drops. For me, when I got hit in the face, it blew up some of the rockets too. Revan's problem might be the times when the rockets explode on the map.
If everyone could shoot at one of the rockets while looking at them and report here if they cause a FPS drop, it might help Executer out. I don't know if this is true, but at least it is a theory.

Well, when I played the FPS drops didn't happen when the missiles/rockets/torpedoes were launched. They just happened to be there when I was looking in a certain direction sometimes. But it all ironed out for the most part in the end if I remember. I'll have to play a few more times and get a more precise report on why I might be getting performance drops.

Hmmmm... I guess not? Possibly the only cause of my FPS drops with the rockets on the ground is just thay they are so close. Well, I don't know anymore.

I uploaded the fixed version. The crash should not occur anymore since I fixed those weapons. If it still does please pm me or write it in here!
The link of the 1.1 version can be found in the first post.

Thanks for fixing that. Gameplay is much smoother now, other than the fact that it's lagging so much, even on lowest settings.

That must be the custom effects. But I am not totally sure, for me the FPS drops when there are too many explosions at once.
OFFTOPIC: Does anyone know how long it takes until a map get released on battlefront files after submitting it?
