Major LAG problem, could it be from BF2_moDtools_noDVD?

I installed ModTools along with the ModTools_noDVD version because mine is a DVD. I placed everything in the right areas from the tutorials I read, everything worked great for me, I used ZeroEdit to make two maps, named them using VisualMunge. They worked but props would not show up while playing in-game :( then I started using BFII_ModTools_noDVD.exe and immediately, i noticed major lag, and the props didn't show up again. So i went back to Battlefront II.exe and it ran with LAG which it never did before i installed BFII_ModTools_noDVD.exe so I tinkered with the graphics and that didn't work either, so i un-installed all mods from the AddOn Folder and that did not work too. I un-installed all ModTools programs and folders, that didn't work, then I un-installed GimpShop.exe to see if that worked, but again, it didn't. I re-installed BFII and it made no difference. I replaced all BFII files with the ones I used as backup which was created when i first got the game. It still lags. :( This is by far my favorite game so can anybody please help??

There's about a 0% chance that any lag you experience in one executable (BattlefrontII.exe) is caused by simply having an unrelated executable (BF2_ModTools_noDVD). If you're experiencing some kind of delay in the game, it's likely tied into whatever resources your system is using at the time the laggy program is running.

Thanks Mav :) I'll try figuring it out on my own. Oh, I almost forgot, how do I get the props to appear on the map?

It may be helpful if you provided your system specs here, as that is the most likely culprit of lag. Secondly, have you tried lowering all the graphics settings to their bare minimum as well as decreasing the amount of units on the battlefield (I believe that option is only for conquest, but the idea still stands). Also, is this lag occurring while playing online or in singleplayer?
