Sounds like another great project, Mav.

Very nice looking project. Glad to see you got the poison grenades working well, and the Plasma Torch is a nice original weapon.

Only nit pick I have (which is an extremely minor, realism kind) is the Gun Melee for the Bothan, if you make a separate Blaster mesh, with the gripping area near the buttstock, you can use one of the Darth Maul animations to make it look like its using the Stock of the weapon to hit instead of the more fragile barrel.

Starkiller's combo though is just plain awesome, especially the finishing force move for the heavy combo.

You know, now that I think about it, Maris Brood might be a bit tough, since if you look closely, she holds her lightsabers in a unique way. She was using THIS type of saber.

You're right; I did forget to add the visors. That has since been fixed.

And Kota is in there, Juno Eclipse is not. She never really did anything so she gets the ax (plus Alliance heroes outnumber Empire heroes).

Maybe.

The saber wouldn't be a problem, I can do that (I came up with a decent-looking combo for Starkiller, and he holds his saber a lot differently too). The only issue would be making another combo - each new combo is twice the size of an older one, and I have to make a new combo and animationset for every Jedi. Once I get done making all the new animationsets, I'll see what I feel like and make a decision about adding Maris Brood then.

I'm just curious if you ever considered making the Shadow Guard armor have some elements of the Stormtrooper armor because they have the big breastplate in this picture. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Em ... wGuard.jpg
I'm not sure if it would be difficult or not to take the head off the model of the Stormtrooper and add the head (or make a new one) of the royal guard model. And add the little butt-cape thing. Yeah, its probably hard to do isn't it?

You also said earlier that Alliance heroes outnumbered the Empire heroes. You could just add the blue guards, red guards, and shadow guards to the Empir roster. That's kind of cheap though.

Whatever, I'm just throwing stuff out there. Oh and the model of the head for the Mon Calamari looks awesome! Really well done, who made it?

Oh, and a little sidenote, I just realized how cool the gun that the Bothan is holding would look if the barrel was removed. It would make it seem more unique.

Anyways, I'm just really surprised at how this is turning out. Its amazing!

Thanks for the input, and while I'm more than happy to answer questions, like I said earlier, I'm not really taking suggestions. I have a plan, it is a good one, and it includes most things people would suggest.

To address the above:
1) The Royal Guard model has a breastplate texture, and since the model is a cloaked guard anyway, I'm going with that. I used the concept Shadow Guard art as a guide (for both the texture and the staff) - you can see it on the link you posted.
2) Senate Guard didn't exist at this time.
3) Royal Guards aren't heroes.
4) Shadow Guards are already heroes.
5) I did.
6) I'm trying to stick to an accurate representation of the weapons that would have been used; the one they have is a real weapon that Kota's militia used - so I'm sticking to that as my rifle model.

Okay, thanks for answering. It was kinda hard to see the breastplate in the video, because the shadow guard is, you know, so shadowy, and you see him for like 3 seconds. Anyhoo, can't wait to see more!

Very nice support units! The Bothan's melee attack looks very cool. How does it look when he uses the attack? Like saber swing?

That combo system is just insane. I had wanted to add something like that to BFX, but lacked the knowledge to do so. Good work, Mav!

Yes, I never felt as though Juno should have been in there. And especially that kiss that they shared at the end... I mean, she barely knew the guy!

But what if you were a girl, who kind of flew around the galaxy with a guy who was somewhat (or very) good-looking and then there's a chance that you'll never see the person again, would you want to miss out on that one-chance opportunity? Assuming you're a girl however, and that is probably not true. Just reverse it and it will make more sense. There's this chance you'll never see this hot girl again, go for it! Even if you only spent a little bit of time with her, this is it man!

Bwuh? They barely knew each other? Doesn't the game take place over a couple months?
